Very unprofessional and immature. She stooped down to looks whereas Faye gave a fair critique of the casting choice. When you have to go as low to insult someone's looks you know there is no real substance behind the insult. Besides, she is going to get older someday too!

I can understand why Faye Dunaway was being a defensive hater. Bonnie Parker was a big role in her career. I have to say I was a little bit surprised because whether you like her acting or not, Hilary usually conducts herself with class. With that said, it was on the catty side but I don't think it was the worst thing in the world. Faye seemed to kind of go after her for no reason and she was probably on the defensive.

Faye's comment wasn't nice, and she should not have said it, but I kinda understand and agree with her. Like tatsauce said, it was an important role in her career. I have never seen any acting by Hilary Duff that impressed me. I'm sure she's a nice girl and has some talent, but I'm not a fan of her work so far.

Faye Dunaway was being catty and insulting to Hilary but I would have preferred Hilary to take a higher road.She is so cute and it really must have bothered her so I think she didn't think it through but spoke through emotions!

The unforunate truth is that -- the more publicity drummed up by this drama, the more people will be interested in the movie. So maybe her publicist told her to say whatever she wants. Frankly, it was immature of Faye to say anything in the first place. I think it made her sound envious, bitter and maybe a little senile. As for Hilary, everyone should feel empowered to stand up for themselves.
