Last week Jennifer Aniston stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and yesterday John Mayer's segment aired. He taped the interview before his busy weekend, which included celebrating Jen's birthday as well as performing and accepting two awards at the Grammys. John cutely talked about Jennifer's high-tech house, sleepovers, and romance. While John stayed mum about his Valentine's Day plans, the singer apparently prepared a special birthday present for Jen — he wrote her a song.
John Mayer twittered his excitement about winning the two Grammys and then taking a day off to lounge around in sweats. He wrote that he's happy to keep his "dumb mouth" shut for a bit, but it can't be too long considering he has to serenade Jen on her actual birthday tomorrow.

well - i had to say that i was pretty impressed that he won a few more grammys the other night - i don't know - i'm not in awe of his abilities but i guess he's got talent right? for the sake of jen...i'm happy to hear that things are still going well...but think about all the pressure that's on him now, since the whole world knows that it's her 40th birthday which is a BIG deal to some, and the fact that she wants to get married. there's no pressure there - none at all right?

I think he even said something to this effect in one of the "red carpet" interviews. but I think he used the word "uncomfortable." I love watching him and Ellen together, they feed off each other well. must be that vibin'.

12What a chatterbox. I remember somebody in this network telling us about how they met him in a bar in NY and how he was only talking about himself. I can SO imagine that after seeing this interview. (BTW, I have never heard his music, I don't think he would be famous outside of the US f it wasn't for his female connections)
