Jake Gyllenhaal and his sister shared a laugh backstage after she and Peter Sarsgaard took the stage together kicking off their run of Uncle Vanya last night. From there, the trio headed to the afterparty. Maggie and Peter recently talked about living in Brooklyn and why they chose off Broadway to work together:
Peter: "It is only about the experience of doing it, and with your lover; why would we engage in anything any other way than that? Why would we join forces commercially? It would be ——"
Maggie: "Kind of disgusting."The duo also joked about not being paparazzi targets like the Cruises and Maggie's mom trying to move in with them a la Michelle Obama's in the White House. Peter and Maggie may be a quieter kind of celebrity couple, but they certainly know how to turn on the charm when they want to.
