Maggie was dressed all sunny, but acting all surly out with Peter and little Ramona in NYC this Memorial Day. Awww, why so grumps, Maggie? You'd think she would be in a brighter mood considering the great year she has had. In addition to her little bundle of joy, her career is going great -- she was nominated for a Golden Globe and even took over Katie Holmes' role in the next Batman flick, The Dark Knight. As for the Pop100....does anyone else think that it is kind of irrelevant? I mean, I like the idea of being able to vote for your favorite celebrities, but it doesn't seem like a real tally of the most popular celebrities, since you can vote more than once for your favorite. If you rate someone once, your opinion would more than likely stay consistent unless they do something really great or stupid, which might have people changing their minds. For example, if you LOVE Adam Brody, you'll probably vote him all 10s and be done with it.
I just think that judging by the comments in the posts, it is highly unlikely that LL and Paris are favorites of a large majority of Pop's readers. I would go out on a limb and say that Britney should definitely be higher on the list than those two. I don't like any of them, but I am curious to see what a real representation of other Pop Readers would look like.
That's just my two cents...

10I absolutely agree with you juju. Like why isn't Kate Winslet on the top 10. She's doing that movie with Leo so that would put her stock up and is very classly and well-liked. Or like Daniel Craig for, you know, being Daniel Craig.
I think that the Popsugar 100 should be base on the "What Celebrities I like" segment of our profiles. For example, if more than a thousand of Popsugar members put Johnny Depp in our "What Celebrities I like" list than that how's it should be counted. I think this would be more consistent and stable and actually represents what WE, Popsugar, think and feel about celebrities.

To be honest, I would prefer to NOT see photo's like this published online (so that they become less in-demand, and thus stop being shot by the paps) and miss out on an update of a favorite celebrity. I mean, if I like this gal so much, why would I want her to be harassed? What if she abandon's the biz as a result of the hassel of LIVING HER LIFE? What about other private celebs and their families? I think it would be a shame if our disrespect meant we'd lose talented actors and actresses.
