Kate Moss stripped down and showed off a healthy looking body for the Spring Fashion Issue of New York Magazine. The interview included Sir Philip Green and confirms the NY Topshop store opening in early April but the timing of the issue also perfectly lines up with even more pregnancy rumors, which she clears up in the interview. In addition, Kate gets candid about loving clothes and her new body, and dishes on how excited she is to host the Met Costume Institute Gala this year. Here are highlights:
- On being a designer: "I love clothes. I know how clothes should fit and feel. When I would go to shoots, stylists would say to me, 'You really should do something. You should take it another step.' But it never felt right until I met Philip and the whole atmosphere of Topshop."
- On her upcoming lingerie line: "I’ve got a clear idea of what I want for lingerie. I’ve just started wearing bras. It’s a miracle. Not today, but I have been. Great timing for my lingerie collection. I’ve just grown breasts... I am a woman now! It’s true. No, honestly, I’ve never worn a bra in my life. Ever! It’s so awful, even my friends are phoning me up and saying 'Are you pregnant?' And I’m like, 'No! I just put on a couple of pounds, and they went in the right place.' Isn’t that weird? And how perfect for lingerie."

- On the Costume Institute Gala: "After the last one, I went with Stella—we’ve been friends for a very, very long time. And the thing is, we stood in line for an hour or something to say hello to the meet and greet in the receiving line. Donatella is in front of us, and Francesco Clemente was behind us with his wife, who I knew from back in the day. And we’re going, I can’t believe this. You can’t smoke. You can’t have a drink. When we got to the receiving line, this lady came up and said, 'We’re sorry, they’ve all gone to their tables.' We were like, What? Tom and Katie just walked right up to the front, and we were like, Who the fuck are they? They’re not even in fashion! And then two days later Anna calls and says, 'I’d like you to host.' And also, it is an honor to be asked by Anna with Marc to host the Met ball and being the first model and all that."
Last year it was Lindsay Lohan posing naked in New York, but this time, as usual, Kate made it all her own.

4Even though her face looks really tired in this shoot, I have to say her weight gain looks great to me. it gives her more of a 60s bombshell kind of body, and her boobs aren't the scary pointed weapons they used to be. Yay for a weight gain!
Also, for someone who cannot stand tattoos, I am shocked that I think her anchor tattoo is downright sexy.
5It's weird to read an interview with her, she's usually quite private. I remember seeing a video interview of her when she first started modelling, she seems like the same girl... very laid back.

7English is not my first language, and I have troubles to define her look in those pictures. I don't know if there is one word for it - she looks like a woman tired with life, who did to much drugs and alcohol, and never had self respect. Totally Wasted, I guess, is the word? Her body looks good, but her face and eyes are the ones of the old tired woman.

I really don't know why "that" american magazine did that... and truly, I don't care.
But I know Kate, so please be fair, she made 35 years old in January and looks like a women of her age, not that older face in a 35 years old body.

i'm proud of kate. her fun times with coke are what may have kept her rail thin, but, with that addiction in the past, now she has a great figure. she looks like a real woman.
