crazyone- how can you say that this is so 'heidi and spencer' - this is a family and what do families do when they are at Disney world. they take photos with mickey and minnie. the speidis were always just photo opps, but this is family album stuff.

Sorry--you bring along a professional photographer with special lighting (did you see that guy holding up the huge prop piece in the back ?!?!) and this is no longer just "family stuff". LOL. These two have been pimping that poor kid out like she's on payroll, and this whole staged scene at Disneyland screams Heidi and Spencer to me too. Tom and Katie are really no different from those two--they just have more money to flaunt. And Tom Cruise has no idea of normal anyway.

As far as giving children privacy. For people like Tom & Katie to do that, they'd have to keep her locked in their home. They can't leave their house w/out people gawking, taking pics etc.

Don't you ever wonder how every other major, well known celebrity in the history of time has managed to give their children a normal life away from the paparazzi? It is not impossible and they would not have to keep their child locked in her home to do it. Every photo you see of Suri, every day, remember that is their choice to have her out there. They alert or invite the paparazzi and stage these photo ops. It's a well known fact. Tom Cruise is no fool when it comes to the business and he knows he couldn’t buy himself better publicity than a cute kid.

There was an interesting article in a European paper describing how they pulled the car over to a random strip of grass, got out to pose for the photographers they invited along and then published the photos as if they were just candids of Katie and Suri playing at the park caught by chance.

I guess some of us aren’t naïve enough to gush over these photos like it’s some sweet innocent moment caught on film. Tom Cruise has turned this toddler into a product brand like Coca Cola. I think it’s just gross.

That's nice Connor was included, but he's about 14 now.. surely he and Isabella made previous trips to Disney parks when they were an age that would want to play with Mickey and Minnie, yet without a media crew documenting it. (Back in the days when Tom didn't need to repair his image with family photo ops.)

I agree with NutmegNice...brand Suri. Almost every day of her life documented in the media. I recall JFK Jr saying how he wasn't sure how many of his childhood memories of his father were his own, or learned from the images and articles he'd seen throughout his life. His mom worked very hard to keep her kids out of the spotlight so they could have a somewhat normal childhood.

And Suri may be happy in these photos--but that doesn't mean I can forget or ignore the hundreds of others where she is in obvious distress.

I'm not saying by the way that I don't believe that they set many of these photo ops up, I'm sure they do. What I'm saying is that even w/out setting up the photo ops it would be very difficult for them to live a "normal" life. Look at the people in the background of the photos - everyday average people like you and I snapping pics of the famous people.

I get your point about exploiting children, and I don't like that either. but again it's their choice and they will have to be the ones to deal with the consequences of their actions (and Suri obviously). we all make choices everyday and we all face the consequences of those choices -both good and bad. It's no different for them.

And Ginger brought up a great point that we did not have Tom's other children's young lives documented on film or paraded out to the paparazzi like this. They got to grow up in private--and I'm sure were not lacking in anything, including Disneyland and vacations all over the world.

Of course back then Tom's celebrity image was all nice and shiny so he didn't need to use his kids for free PR polishing.

Disney Parks have been very good at helping celebs NOT have their kids photographed. Disney has almost every inch of the parks covered with security cameras and respond really fast to anything that makes it less than the happiest place on earth.

Man, some people in here deserve the Oscar for their dramatic performance. It's an over-privileged kid in Disney World. If you don't agree, don't look at the pics. Problem solved.

Those poor regular kids had to watch her get special treatment all over the park that day. she is no better than any of those kids there. That makes me sick. I bet they didnt even have to wait in line.

Oh my goodness...I wonder If Brad and Angie would get this scrutiny...ummm NOPE...they pimp out their brood all the time and all anyone says is how great and beautiful their family is...I mean if you don't like Tom and Katie and the "branding" of Suri then don't endorse it by looking at the pics and commenting on it..

I just don't get how Tom has Suri everywhere while Connor and Isabella (where the heck is she?!) have to live back in the shadows. You barely see them around anywhere, and it doesn't even seem like Tom wants them seen anywhere. I mean, didn't Tom not even allow Connor to attend his own movie premiere...

Well, I was going to comment on how nice the first picture would be if Tom had just put his arm around Connor and included him in the picture...but after reading everyone's comments on how posed this picture is, all I can think about is how Tom may be using Suri to bring his image back up...

This is the most beautiful Hollywood family photos I have seen in ages.Love and joy is in the air. God bless them.

Tom and Connor are so handsome and the ladies are cutiepies.

Suri is the only reason these two people are still relevant.

Nic was the one that guarded Bella and Connors privacy ferociously.. she helped them get a normal childhood.. Well, as normal as any home schooled scientology child can get.

She still does her best to shield them.. they didn't walk the red carpet for the Nick Awards but were in the audience... she covertly gets them on set for her movies.

Tom is the one that decided that the divorce, verbal attacks on Lauer and Shields and the couch jumping had hurt his image enough to roll out the kids.. then suddenly Katie and Tom making out for the paps at the soccer games, Connor going with him to races, Suri dressed in 1000 dollar outfits daily looking scared and horrified at the beach, at the mall, at Barney's, at a park just ONCE where she looked at other children her age like they were alien beings, and now contrived Disney shots.. and these are not taken by paps or the tourists.. these are some of the professional shots it looks like released.

Look at Gwen.. Kingston in a playground with get dirty clothes playing with other kids.. normal.

Even Brad and Angie.. kids at the park playing in the rain getting muddy..been there done that.. buying them a hot dog from a NY City vendor or taking them to the Mars restaurant or a museum, picking them up from school in Prague where they can play with other kids their age..still more normal then taking poor Suri dressed to the nines on a photo parade when she is obviously miserable.

Out of all the celebrity children..I really feel sorry for Suri.

And yes.. although totally posed and over the top classic Tom Cruise PR Whorish.. this is the happiest this little girl has ever publicly looked.

@ QueenB75 - maybe Isabella and Connor aren't pictured just as much because they have school, they have their own group of friends they hang out with, and maybe they don't want Tom to take them with him when he's out with Suri and Katie. Tom said in an interview (not sure whether Leno or Letterman) that Connor and Isabella don't want him to talk about them, so he doesn't. Who knows if it's true. But I don't think the two older kids are living in the shadows...maybe they just don't want any part in Tom's hollywood lifestyle with the paps and all.

I think Tom is strange...but seeing pics of him and Connor at Daytona seemed like father and son have a great relationship. Anyway, I'm glad to see Suri laughing and enjoying the trip to Disney.
