Nick Carter stopped by Ellen today to talk again about his new cleaned up image. He continued to open up about his excessive drug and alcohol abuse and how he cleaned up his act when he was diagnosed with a potentially fatal heart condition.
Nick looks better than ever these days and seems to have turned his life around, but his antics over the past few years lost him some fans. The Backstreet Boys are about to start a South American leg of their tour, and Nick was always the biggest heartthrob of the group. So tell us, now that Nick is cleaned up — do you think a big comeback is in his future?

maybe...i guess if i were a bigger fan of the group then i'd have more of an opinion -but i just don't have one right now. my boss is a DIE HARD BSB fan - so i'm sure this will be a good thing in her mind - but for myself - he might have one and it's a good thing. regardless if he sees more attention now, it was the right decision to make for himself personally for his health and well being

8Comeback, popsugar, really? Backstreet Boys are still together and have been on the road for almost a year now, they're still going strong even if they don't get the recognition that they deserve. As a die-hard fan I will always love Nick and the boys no matter what. I think the new record is going to be amazing.
9Their last effort (Unbreakable) was a solid pop album. I don't think the Backstreet Boys will attract any new fans anytime soon, but their old fans will stick with them (like me!). Good luck to them, and maybe I'll get to catch one of their shows!
As for Nick himself... he's been through some bizarre times. Dating Paris Hilton? Abusing drugs? I hope he has come clean and sticks with it!

14I was a HUGE BSB fan back in the day and Nick was my absolute favorite! But then he dated Paris...and then Paris turned up black and blue (literally)...and neither one of them was saying anything...
I'm glad he cleaned up his life, and I'm still a fan of BSB, but I probably wouldn't look at Nick the same way again.

20Well I LOVE the Backstreet Boys. They have been my favorite band since I was 4, now I am 14 and their still my favorite band. I think all of them are HOT! As for Nick he was always my favorite and he still is. I will always LOVE the Backstreet Boys no matter what. As a matter of fact I think they are the best band of all time. I don't care what anybody else says they are the BEST BAND EVER! I could go on forever with good things about the Backstreet Boys.
