Jake Gyllenhaal got down and dirty planting trees as part of the Global Green National Green Schools Initiative in LA yesterday. While he has a big heart when it comes to the world, he's also got a lot of love for his girlfriend Reese Witherspoon. Once again there are rumors that things might be headed to the next level — he supposedly spent some time ring shopping in NYC. It very well could have been a congratulations gift for Maggie and Peter's Uncle Vanya debut, but he also doesn't need an occasion to give Reese something beautiful.

3i love how people will ALWAYS speculate - but i do hope that they get married one day.
as for his working with the Garden and the LA schools..i think that it's a good thing and something that's really useful since you're helping educate kids about things that they ARE able to do now.

And what did these horrible obtrusive cameramen do to jake to deserve this" They said "Hey jake, how's it going?" Yeah he's suuuuuuuuuuuuuch a nice guy..........

And trademark, if I were stalked all the time by the papparazzi, I would get annoyed/grumpy too...I might not kick or spit on them, but I might get pretty angry.
9to skc sparkle: let us not forget how jake got to where he is...by people, me and you, and everybody else who buys tickets to his movies, his fans. the only way we have to see what he's doing is through news, tv, interviews, photographs (aka "papparazzi"). sure they're annoying and intrusive, that's thier job, but don't forget, jake CHOSE this job and with that choice comes responsibility, the man makes millions of dollars, has stardom up the yingyang (once again, thanks to you and me and millions of other people) and he can't stop, look at the camera and give a smile and a simple "hey guys, what's up, doin' good but in a rush, take it easy" and be on his way? i think we've done a pretty good job showing our loyalty to HIM, maybe it's time he does a better job of showing his loyalty to US, the people who put him where he is......
