Hilary Duff continues to express her new grown up image in her video for Stranger where she does some sexy belly-dancing! The more mature starlet is also making up with her teen rival, Lindsay Lohan. She said she ended her feud with LL. “Lindsay and I were out at the same place," Duff says, "and we were like, ‘Let’s get this out of the way.’ And she was really nice, and I was really nice... [I]t’s nice to be able to see Lindsay out and say hi, and not have this weird weirdness.” It's great to hear that both girls were on "nice" behavior, but it looks like she'll have to wait a while to reconnect more with Lindsay now that LL is in Promises for the time being.

18That song sounds like a total rip-off from one of Shakira's albums; that said, she looks strangely plastic in this video. Her facial features are all stretched out ... maybe I'm too used to Lizzie McGuire.
19I don't know about Hilary playing the part of a sexy girl. Isn't she just 18? I still feel likes she's too young. Maybe when she is 20 she can start doing the sexy roles, but for now I find it too awkward also.

24I really liked this video. I think Hilary looks both sexy and classy. I like seeing this mature side of her...this video is a long way from Lizzie McGuire! As for her dancing...well, it's obvious she's no Beyonce or Britney Spears, but she dances just fine for the theme of the video. And kudos to her for gaining some weight...she looks beautiful.

28I agree with imalifeguard. The song uses the same formula as her old songs: verse, chorus, verse, chorus, her vocal solo, and then back to the chorus. She looks great here, even though the red lipstick is kinda distracting and the hoodie/leopard getup reminds me of PCD..

44I always think that to look good dancing in front of the camera you really have to be a good dancer (and know it!), a consumate narcissist, or an incredible actor - otherwise you feel awkward and you look it.
Even if Hilary's none of the above I can't say I hate her for it. And while not pure pop perfection, her new album has a catchiness to make it a hit. It also hints at the intellectual darkness of the singer (yeah, I never thought I'd say that but Hil isn't all roses and sunshine, and she seems to actually be capable of an original thought).
I think, in the long run, she'll be the one to surprise everybody.
