WIth all that is going on, I almost forgot that Paris is still going to jail next week. Who would have thought Paris and Joe Francis, both in the clink at the same time, while Lohan is locked up in rehab. Britney is going to have the tabloids to herself for awhile.

well at 1st I said I would rather see her finding Jesus then partying, I take that back,it is actually pissing me off now.. I mean she will pro give up all this stuff once she gets out of jail and I really wonder if God is really listening to someone who does not seem to give any thought to him unless they are in trouble..

Somehow I don't see this as a bad thing for Paris. Knowing her, she'll probably come out of it with a new tell all book about how she survived prison, and how she now has "street cred" and all that b.s. I mean, it's not like she's going to a real prison or anything. She'll be with all the other celebrities and rich people. I mean, I'm sure she's nervous and a bit scared about it, but it's not like she's gonna get shanked in the ribs or something.

The quote about her not dealing well with her fate is probably true. Paris is a disturbed narcissist with an unrealistic, bad upbringing. I'm sure that conceited, vapid human being doesn't have any kind of coping skills or self inventory.

Her parents should be jailed as well. There's GOT to be a charge for what they've wrought on the world with their indulgent, blind, narcissistic brand of raising their kids. I hope Paris changes for the better...but she'll just do a reality spoof and talk about how "hot" jail was.

I don't feel the least bit sorry for her. She is obviously trying to get everybody's sympathy and pretending to be more spiritual. It just really cracks me up that every time Paris is seen with a book it is always facing out so the camera can see the title. She knows what she is doing and she knows how to play the media.

It's pissing me off that she's being so whiney about this whole thing. I mean, she repeatedly broke the law (and should have the decency to admit that she's getting exactly what she deserves) and now she's going to have to be bored and mildly uncomfortable and eat gross food for a couple of weeks before this whole thing becomes a distant memory and she continues living out her days in the obscene luxury that the rest of us can only dream about. Isn't having Paris as a cellmate a huge punishment for whoever has been picked as her cellmate? Although I guess they could write a book about it. It might be more interestin g than Paris' own version of her time in jail...

i still don't feel sorry for her. if it were any other non celebrity they'd be spending a lot longer in jail, so i can't feel bad for her.

Well, if I was in her place I would be more worried about the time after. But there are hardly any consequences in her life after jail since she's loaded and all. But I still believe the whole trip forces her to face at least the facts that still are same to all of us (or most of us).

Well, yes, this is how everyone that commits her crime feels about doing time. That's why a lot of people either try not to do the crime or try to look repentant if they do get booked.

Paris did neither and all the rest is retroactive damage control, because (omg!) she can't believe that it's happening to *her* when she has millions in the bank and isn't low rent or anything! I don't see her buckling down and accepting it and determining to make a change for the better in her life. She probably doesn't even know what that is unless someone writes it down for her.

All of her behaviour is of the 'to be seen' variety, which doesn't hold out much hope for any personal epiphanies. But then, you'd need a brain for that, and a lot less narcissim.

I believe that she may be actually taking the books with her to read. Just because she's Paris doesn't mean that she isn't interested in spiritual things. Maybe this was a huge slap in the face for her and she's interested in learning new things. A lot of celebrities are into spiritual things. Either way, I think it's good for her to at least be exposed to the spiritual stuff, even if she isn't really taking is seriously. If you think about it, this is probably the first experience she's had with her spirituality, I doubt her parents were a very good influence in that department.
