David Beckham was more than happy to train with his old soccer team in Hertfordshire this week after his Real Madrid teammates threw him an emotional goodbye party. While Posh seems to have no trouble diving into Hollywood life, apparently David is starting to have a bit of anxiety about the move. It seems that David is more of a quiet homebody and would just as soon stay in Madrid where he's made some real friends, while Posh is ready to move on. According to a source, "The bottom line is that she is naturally very excited about moving to Los Angeles, and is bored to tears when David bangs on about how lovely it has been in Madrid and his wonderful friends. It makes her roll her eyes."
While it's understandable that Posh is taking the reigns on her own projects, it does sound like she's being a bit harsh. Whatever the case, we're hoping that once David is on U.S. soil he'll be happy to settle right into his new life - with lots of yummy pics to prove it.

4Yeah sounds like Posh will fit in just well with all her new fake friends in Hollywood. I can understand David's sentiment when you find true friends who aren't just your friend because you are David Beckham, it means a lot. A majority of Hollywood call you their friend only if they can benefit from knowing you.
Posh will learn soon enough that the majority of the folks in ol' Hollywood who claims to be your friend or not really your friend.

11I'm sure anyone who was deeply rooted to a place would have serious trouble leaving it but those sources sound pretty sketchy.
12I think this story IS true, if you live in europe (in perticular England) you will know that when David signed for LA Galaxy in January he was already dropped from the England national squad and the Real Madrid team so he basically thought that moving to LA would be a good idea considering that his soccer career was taking a nose dive.
Fast forward a few months and he is playing exellent for Real Madrid and he is on the verge of winning the Spanish league title (his first trophy in 5 years!) and he has just been recalled back to the England squad because his Real Madrid form has been so impressive so its no wonder David is having cold feet about moving to LA!. He realises now that he still has a few years left playing at the top level in Europe rather than playing in a mediocre league which no one cares about.
Of course Posh is excited about moving to Hollywood, its always been her deam to be the centre of attention but its not David's deam. David wants to play football at the highest level, win league titles and Champions Leauges every year and be around his true friends but that isnt going to happen now because he followed Posh's orders to move to Hollywood to fufill her ambitions.
The sad thing is that when David retires from playing football and is comparing his medals with that of his ex teams from Manchester United and Real Madrid he will come to the realisation that they have the more prestigious medals and only then will he realise what a huge mistake he made moving to LA and following Posh's orders.

18I don't know if these stories are true, but they sound about right. He moved to Spain for her bc of the money and she refused to live in Madrid for the longest time. Now she wants to move to the US. This is exactly the case for Andriy Shevchenko right now. He moved from Italy to the UK for his wife and now he wishes he could move back. If Becks can learn anything from Sheva, it's don't let money and a woman influence your career!

21Never know there may be some truth to it, because when you think about it every since it has been annouced that they are relocating he has been to L.A. maybe once or twice. Whereas Mrs. Beck's have pretty much migrated already to the L.A. area. I hope the move don't break up their marraige, at least for the childrens sake.

33i love posh but i have a sick feeling that they are going to get divorced once they are over here...she loves the attention and wants a career and david is at the end of his career. they are both still young and i just dont see posh hanging onto this marriage anymore if her tv show takes off and gets her to where she wants to be. this man has cheated on her many a time i think its only a matter of time before its over, unfortunatly.
