Justin is all sexed up on the cover of Rolling Stone this week. Forget Suri - this is the photo I want to see. Yummy!!! JT admits he hated a 2003 cover of RS when they crowned him the King of Pop. He said he had worked so hard to get away from the boy band image and was horrified to receive that title. Here's more:
"That Rolling Stone coverline bothered me so bad. When I saw it I was like, 'My God, my career is over.' "I felt it meant I still wasn't being taken seriously, that I was being stereotyped just like I had before. They end of year Best Of... lists didn't help, either. Pop Album of the Year here. Pop Album of the Year there. "I couldn't understand why people couldn't hear that I was doing R+B."

i like Justin, he has done so well since he went solo. It does have some great talent, and will be around for a long long time, but he does have some extra baggage (cameron) oops, did i say that!

18And one could argue that it takes a certain amount of talent and charisma to make it out of boy band fame. Very few guys have done it. You can count on one hand the guys who go from boy bands to successful solo careers. Where are the Backstreet Boys? The other guys from N'Sync? 99 Degrees? The fact that JT is still around is cool in itself.
I mean sure, he's no Bob Dylan, but music doesn't always have to be all cerebral. It can just be for fun...at least in my very humble opinion.
And as for sexy... I still melt when I hear " I'm going to have you naked by the end of this

40Rolling Stone is such a fluff magazine anymore. If they aren't pandering to teenagers who don't read, then they are pander to old farts who actully like the Grateful Dead and Bob Dylan. Is Bob Dylan the most overrated musician on the planet or what. He frequently make stupid comments and think because of who he is people might care.
41Griffin, I got a complimentary subscription to Rolling Stones, which I'd NEVER read before, and yeah...I asked myself what all the hoopla was about. Rolling Stone is considered the Bible of the music world, but sheesh...I found it boring, and exactly as you describe. When my 11 year old daughter started cutting pics out of it, I just had to laugh, because this is the same kid who reads Bop magazine! LOL

45lol Skye, Bob Dylan has only been going strong for decades, has tons of albums, people constantly cover his work. All one needs to do is read some lyrics to see the genius poet that is Bob Dylan, but then again, theres no accounting for taste.
