The women wore a variety of colors on the red carpet but one thing was clear on Hollywood's biggest night — they were all glowing. Colors ranged from beautiful blue, which was worn by the lovely Freida Pinto, pretty pink on petite Natalie Portman and ravishing reds as seen on Amy Adams and Heidi Klum. Some looked like princesses in their full gowns like Sarah Jessica Parker and Miley Cyrus. Both wore their very detailed dresses differently but they looked belted and beautiful.
Those that kept away from color still stood out in basic black or light whites. Angelina used her green earrings to capture our attention while Anne Hathaway sparkled in her metallic gown. Anne's dress had plastic sequins, which made it pretty difficult for her to walk into the theater but the dress sparkled with all the lights on her. Jessica Biel went for a dramatic bow while Penelope marked her special night with a vintage gown that was over 60 years old. Kate Winslet looked classic as well as Meryl Streep who was mobbed by the Slumdog kids — who were so excited to ask her for an autograph. It was one of the highlights from the red carpet, along with updo wearing Kate Winslet and Penelope Cruz being the last of the ladies to head into the theater arm in arm.

I havent seen everybody. But I loved Penelope, Anne and Natalie Portman. Maybe I had too high expectations for her, but Kate didnt really wow me.
No real duds this year. But Miley's dress is pretty bad though
1When did Sarah Jessica Parker get breast implants? You can see the circles on her chest. Very unflattering.
2Angelina is sooooooo OVERRATED as far as style. She is always wearing something unflattering (see last two big events with the sheets stitched on the sides and a belt at the waist) or in BORING black. I hate how she is always getting best dressed based on who she is and not her style.
Miley's dress looks bad in photos I think, in real life I would think it would be pretty with all that beading - lets remember this is the Oscars, I love it that she at least went out of the box and gave us something we haven't seen before.

I also liked Amy Adams, she is such a cutie,and i liked Diane Lane too.
I agree that Angie should wear more colour, but i like her dress too and her earring are fabolous.
13Kate Winslet's dress isnt bad, but could have been better.
i'm not sure what was up with the big poofy bow trend, but that's one that i would recommend staying away from. i don't know - it was NOT pretty on the 2-3 people who had them (yes jessica that means you too). i LOVED natalie's dress, and i loved alicia key's dress. i want to love reese's but i'm not sure if i can. the color was amazing though, it was just a very unique style.
14I loved how Jenny Anistion rocked her style. From the hair to the dress. Alicia, Natalie and Anne H. looked gorgeous. I even liked Penelope Cruz's dress.
15Natalie.... I don't know how to do a fainting emoticon, but she is perfection.
16SJP doesn't have implants, she's always had a decent sized, non saggy rack plus I imagine the push up a dress that gives...and by the way, her dress was hands down my favorite...she looked gorgeous...not too many disasters, more like luke warm or hot, nothing between...Alicia Keys and Queen L looked beautiful and of course Kate Winslet, but she always looks stunning...Halle & Anne H as well...the rest were ok

19i thought Natalie Portman, Alicia Keys, Penelope Cruz and Kate Windslet all looked stunning. Anne Hathawat looked nice too. I liked Angelina's earrings but I thought her dress was boring. Freida's dress wasn't really my style but I thought she pulled it off well. And I thought Meryl Streep, for her, looked good. She has had some misses in the past but i thought this worked.
20Somehow I thought the raspberry shade did nothing for Natalie's complexion and looks gorgeous on a darker skintone, like Alicia. Natalie's makeup was bad too. She looks much better pale.

29SJP looked like a fool with her armpit-boobs. Natalie was just so darling and elegant. Beyonce looked like a sausage stuffed into a too-tight casing. Angie looked like she always does, so no difference there.

33Marisa Tomei looked absolutely gorgeous!! Natalie Portman, Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Penelope Cruz, SJP's were best dressed. OMG i know imma get skewered for this but Angelina looked BORING, she doesnt seem to try at all, and her jewelry was pretty from a distance, but up close it looked kinda like those candies, ring pops(??) Jessica Biel was atrocious, her dress was hideous and didnt fit, and her hair was terrible, BOOO! to Jessica Biel!
34I know some people don't, but I like pink so I LOVED Natalie Portman and Alicia Keys. Wow both of those gowns are gorgeous. My other favorite was Taraji Henson. She is so cute! Her dress looked so cool. I really want to, like, feel it haha.

I adore Heidi and usually she hits it, but I did not like that red thing she wore last night. I mean she is hot and can look great in anything but I wasn't feelin it.
35Miley Cyrus... Why she chooses to wear the stuff she wears is beyond me. We are roughly the same age (she is a bit younger) and I am not familiar with any kind of reasoning behind the fashion choices she makes. However I AM familiar with about a bazillion dresses I would want to wear if given her opportunities that are more fun and less blahh

39seriously - what was with that Glinda the Good Witch dress that SJP had on. Not only did the top not fit correctly, but I think the tight belt affected her posture throughout the night. She didn't stand straight in any picture.

Oh: and worst outfit at the after-parties: Madonna. Please - have some dignity. Nothing worse than a desperate Cougar.
