It seemed liked all the big names in Hollywood were out last night for the Oscars and afterparties, but Gwyneth Paltrow skipped the celebrations. She was spotted earlier today picking up Apple from school in London, and little miss Martin looked so grown up in her plaid uniform. Gwyneth has always put her role as mother over her career, but we still would have liked to see her up on stage honoring Kate Winslet with her fellow Best Actress winners of years past.

But that professional scenario is a good one to measure a name's ridiculousness by. Unique is great, but you want to stay away from silly.
I think her name is cute. And it's not any different than, say, Rosemary or April or January or Violet...
My question is, why can't Gwyneth just wear, like, regular pants? Why does everything have to try to be fashion forward?

4I love that they live in London (than other Hollywood spotlight cities) She's very talented and just decides to be a full-time mother. I think that's cool. Most celebrities *not entertainers* have to live in LA or NY or else no one would think to offer them anything. They sell tickets not make treasures. One reason I like Gweneth.
