Freida Pinto shared a thumbs up with fans and photographers while Dev departed separately from LAX yesterday. Meanwhile, her costars were still enjoying their California adventure. Slumdog Millionaire director and new Oscar winner Danny Boyle brought the movie's younger actors to the Santa Monica Piers the day after the crew took a trip to Disneyland. It must be a dramatic culture shock for the mini-movie stars, who will have a ton of stories to share with their friends when they head back to Mumbai.
To see more of the cast just read more.

i think that it's great that they are making a real vacation out of the Oscars trip. think about it - this may be one of the few times that they'll get out of the country for a while, so they might as well try to live it up. just think though about their parents- and how some of them may never have this kind of experience. it's hard to think about sometimes.
1I love reading stories about the Slumdog cast!
2Danny Boyle seems like a super nice guy - especially to do this for these kids!
3Freida just got cast in the new Woody Allen film, so yay on her!

8The happiness over this movie's win and the wonderful cast, is infectious!
9Are they seriously sending them back to the slums??
10I love reading about the Slumdog kids!! I just returned back from India in early January..everytime I am back here, it feels like a slight culture shock for me so I can't imagine what slums to Cali feels like for them! Danny Boyle is great, I think these kids will be dramatically more taken care of when they return to India..I already read some good news on MSNBC: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29381739/
11Congrats!
