Nicole Richie and Joel Madden brought Harlow over for a playdate with Ruby Maguire at Jennifer Meyer and Toby's house yesterday before one of the expectant moms hit the town. Nicole's not taking a break from going out just yet, which included Oscar night with Paris, who is "so excited" for Nicole's baby number two. As a young mom, Nicole manages to balance her nightlife with mommy time and kids' birthday parties as she continues to demonstrate the boundless energy that had her back on the scene so soon after giving birth the first time.

11i just think that being a mom is and was the best thing for nicole..she's really gotten her life back on track and in order and that's such a great thing.
