Well, at least we understand Bar's motivation....so she can get the fame she craves. But I don't get why Leo wastes his time with someone he clearly doesn't love, and who has no love in return for him.

it's nice to see that they are doing 'normal' things, although that's kind of par for the course with this couple. i guess it would be nice to see them together at events, but i'm guessing that's not their arrangement

There was a guy on Ellen today who was Leo's doppelganger to the point of me not being surprised if Ellen gets a call from DiCaprio's people to contact him.

Seriously, the dude even sounded like him. His smile, his hair, the way Leo raises his eyebrows (I'm a Leo fan). He was a bit shorter and heavier, but other than this, it was his double.

I am with those that are as confused as I am as to why these two are evening "dating" each other. When they are together, they never smile at each other and lately, they don't even hold hands even. Last week the pictures of them at LAX looked like she was miserable and he was trying to out-walk her or at least not been pictured with her. What's up with that? When they are apart, they both smile and look at least less tense than when they are together. Why do they never attend each other's public functions together. They were in town for the Oscars, yet he didn't bring her. I thought at least he would show for support of Kate Winslet. Seriously, this is one weird "couple". I am just surprised he has tolerated her as long as he has this time around when clearly she is not interested in anything more deeper than showing off her fake boobs and other parts to the whole world. I guess I just don't understand how someone's life goal was to be on the cover of SI and now that she has done that (thanks to dating Leo) she has no clear goals in mind. Well, unless Leo is stupid enough to marry the little gold-digger.

Honestly, can't really judge their relationship. Leo doesn't like the papz a whole lot, so they probably don't feel the need to show affection for one another in public, plus we only see them in pictures taken by the paparazzis.

CUpcakers, your post would have more merit if he hadn't been seen constantly with his ex, Gisele Bundchen, smiling and being openly affectionate, even when the paps were around. He's never done that with this one.

Well I've have to agree with you on that NotMeAnymore, I looked at past pictures of him with both models, he doesn't smile with Bar at all. Gisele seemed like his true love, or whatever you would call that. They were together for a long time.

How could Ted C know how Leo and Bar act in PRIVATE? Private means alone together. Private does not mean, in a private place but in the presence of some fake "friend" who sells stories to gossip columnists.

Even if Leo and Bar do act the same way in private, who decided you have to be smiley and touchy-feely or it isn't love? Love is an emotion, not a physical act.

Culture could easily explain the difference in Leo's public behavior with Bar versus Giselle. Bar is from Israel, where there is a taboo against couples making public displays of affection; Israelis do not hug and kiss in public. Giselle is from Brazil, where people practically have sex in public.

The fact that Leo publicly smiled at, hugged, and kissed Giselle many times, and STILL DUMPED HER, should tell you something about just how significant those physical acts really are.

Leo dumped Giselle. By all accounts Giselle was the one who was furious. Giselle threatened Victoria's Secret that she would quit if they put Bar on the runway with her. Why would Giselle be so deeply hostile to Leo's new girlfriend if she wasn't romantically jealous? Surely it couldn't be purely professional jealousy when Giselle the undisputed most successful model of her generation? Why would she be scared of Bar as a competitor?

I rarely smile, rarely laugh, and generally dislike physical contact outside of sex. Perhaps Bar feels the same way. Bar smiles only when she is being paid to smile for a professional modeling photograph, or doing a photo op at a career-related public event which she attends for publicity. On her own time, whether in private or in public in front of paparazzi, Bar doesn't bother with smiling, and why should she? She doesn't owe the paparazzi anything.

Leo may dump Bar tomorrow for all I know - or Bar may dump Leo - but I find it funny that you keep predicting he's going to dump her any day now. Doesn't it get repetitive when you've been saying that hundreds of times for two and a half years?

Mellifuous Bar smiles ALL the time when she's with ANYONE but Leo! She's always grinning her chaps with ANYONE BUT Leo, its not even funny. Only with Leo she's all frowns.

It doesnt get repetitive for me to say it because I know its the truth that they will break up. It is very easy.

Why is stretching the muscles of your face and revealing your teeth the most important measure of a relationship?

I rarely smile. So? I'm honestly asking why the people who post comments on these stories about Bar and Leo think smiling is so important.

Maybe you're not at that level where smiling is important TO YOU. You're probably at a lower level in your life where maybe you have to work on some self-esteem issues before you start to smile again. You have to crawl before you walk. Maybe something happened to you in your childhood.

But Leo is at a higher level where smiling is very important to him! He's all about having fun. He's at that stage where he wants to have fun and he expresses it by showing his teeth. Smiling might not be important to you because of your issues that you have to work on first but to Leo ITS VERY IMPORTANT and thats why I know and have NO DOUBT NO DOUBT AT ALL that this faux relationship is going to NOWHERE LAND and that make me smile x3! :)

What do you mean, start to smile AGAIN? I've never been smiley, except when I was a baby/toddler, the age when almost all children smile, but from the age when individual personality characteristics really start to show, like around age 6, I've never really been smiley since then. It's not because of unhappiness. When I am happy, I don't smile.
