Freida Pinto got all glammed up for the March cover of Vogue India. Things seem to be getting better and better for Freida in the wake of Slumdog Millionaire's success, from her rumored new romance to multiple magazine spreads and her upcoming role in a Woody Allen film. While posing for this gorgeous shoot, Frieda talked about her stylish new life. She said, "I'm in fittings day in and day out. . . I think I'm getting spoilt, I've become so much more aware of the fashion world recently — and I'm doomed now. There's no turning back." Something tells us there's no turning back for Freida's career now, even though award season is over.

this girl is gorgeous, but that makeup is awful and makes her look trashy, i watched slumdog yesterday omg they deserved every award, very draining as far as emotions and the sadness.

18I wouldn't compare her with Aishwarya, she is different from those Indian actresses because she isn't bollywood. Also, just saying that Freida is a naturally stunning girl whereas most of the bollywood actresses enhance their beauty with tons of makeup. I personally think Aishwarya is overrated in looks and doesn't have a likable personality like Freida.
The lipstick doesn't look good on her! Too dark!
19I disagree about the lipstick, several people have said it doesn't look good on her but I think the ruby red color looks fantastic on her. Especially in the picture on the right.

20I actually like the lipstick! Cupcakers I totally agree with your comments. Everyone always compares her to Ashwariya which I don't really understand - they don't make the same types of films at all. I think Freida is a great representation of Indian beauty because her skin is darker and she has brown eyes, instead of the typical bollywood look of fair fair skin paired with blue contact lenses, so its easier for many Indian women who look like this to relate to her. Of course Ashwariya is pretty too but they are so different that I don't really compare them.

22Not a fan of the styling for this shoot. She is such a natural beauty, and the ridiculous amount of makeup she is wearing totally negates that.
23Frieda is such a beautiful lady, and this shoot does not do her justice. I am also disappointed that Vogue India is not actually keeping in line with actual Indian fashions. But what do you expect from a magazine who chose Victoria Beckham for their first ever cover edition?
24actually the first indian vogue had priyanka chopra, bipasha basu (bollywood) lakshmi menon and some other models on the cover. oh, and gemma ward.
and i also think she's overrated. there are much MUCH more beautiful indian actresses/ models than her.
