Drew's Back From Vegas and Lining Up Projects Until Twilight
Drew Barrymore brought her dog Flossie along yesterday for an afternoon at the editing studio in LA. She's back to work on her directorial debut Whip It! after spending last weekend in Vegas, celebrating her birthday with pals like Kristen Wiig and Ellen Page, but not her usual partner in crime, Cameron Diaz. Drew is excited to show us her first project behind the camera and there are already rumors what will be next in line — she's on the short list of desired directors for the third installment of the Twilight series, Eclipse. The studio isn't counting on the New Moon director's failure just yet — they just want to start shooting number three while number two is still in post production.

well that's really interesting, and not to say that Drew wouldn't do really well with Eclipse, i would just be afraid that she wouldn't hold true to the sense of the book since she's so new. that's just my take on it. i hope that everything works out for her though

4I really hope those rumors aren't true and Drew and Cameron falling apart, I LOVE them as bffs!
5My sisters friend is on the production team and they are all being told that they will most likely be on the Eclipse film as well. I think if all goes well and with it being such a short gap inbetween films it make sense to keep the crew the same so that you can get the film done in time for the holiday weekends!
6I really hope she doesn't get Eclipse. Yuck.
