I live in Europe where JM is not that known so for a long time I refrained from having an opinion but I have to say he's growing on me. I like the fact that he seems to have a sense of humour and doesn't take himself too seriously!

I think John Mayer is excellent in his own element of the music world, winning critical and commercial acclaim. All of his twittering. blogging and humor works for that audience. He's had a lot of early success and will probably have a long career ahead of him.

They seem like a strange PR relationship to me. And realistically, his career is a lot hotter than hers. She's had some recent success after years of not much going on, but the movie roles for a cute girl/romantic comedy type after 40 are few and far between. Just ask Meg Ryan, Goldie Hawn and Sandra Bullock, who are all movie stars with more range, whereas Jennifer is really best in television comedy. But after 40, even in television the comedy roles are mostly moms or single women who can't make a relationship work types.

Jengal, I absolutely see the irony in this. The same people who are so negative about John Mayer's sense of humor are probably googling themselves right now.

Honestly I don't think he would admit to participating in that poll if he didn't find it humorous. Like a poll of a niche market of the population will really determine the outcome of their relationship.

The sad truth that unless you're Meryl Streep, there aren't that many good roles for the over 40 women!
Do you think Angelina will still be doing action flicks when she's older? I highly doubt it and frankly I find her to be a very mediocre actress as well. She doesn't impress me in her dramatic roles and I believe she only gets those because of her high ptofile and popularity in Hollywood. Her movies certainly aren't popular with the viewes unless she's playing with guns and wearing very little clothes which, as I said above, she wouldn't be able to do for many more years!

ummm If Angie looks 40, Maniston looks 60 without make-up on. Plenty of pictures exist that shows how very old she looks. Her feet and hands also don't lie about the accelerating aging process undergone.

Plus she looks even older and definitely milf when siding Mayer who looks like a kid in comparison.

She has no range and has never carry a film as the lead star, always playing furnitures. So i don't think she has many tools to make it in Hollywood at this stage when godess like Halle, older and looking much more younger are not as huge as they used to be. Plus, she will certainly never ever get the Oscar she craves for, nor a nomination; which is an aim she publicly claimed to accomplish 7 years ago when she said : Next the Oscar !.

Now, she wants to play a James Bond girl in the next JB flick that will probably be shot when she turns 43 ! At this rate, the one who already compare herself to Miley Cirrus, 24 years her junior, will also campaign to play Zac Efron love interest in High School Musical 4 !
