It seems like everyone is jumping on the Twitter train these days, including us. Tons of celebs like John Mayer and Ashton Kutcher have become addicted to bringing us the latest news on their life, work, and random thoughts. More stars are adding accounts every day, so tell us — do you like when celebrities use Twitter?

I don't care. Its a free country. They can do what they want. I do have to say that I hate Twitter and I tell people to not bother giving me their Twitter info because I am not gonna connect them through that silliness. It takes me awhile to warm up to these sites but really so far Myspace is the only social networking site I like. I guess Twitter is easier to share info quickly...so whatever. However I find it irritating.
1Oooh like taht barf face is sooo deep like I'm so impressed. Go back to your hiding place douche.
2I don't really care to know what the celebs (or other ppl, for that matter) do everyday, all day long. Sometimes, too much information IS too much information ! When I hear yet another piece of news about the latest scandal by the new up-and-coming celeb, I'm not rushing to his/her Twitter account to hear their side of the story because... well, I think it's funnier that way...
I don't know John Mayer other than "Mr Aniston", but he actually makes sense here.
3Reading the celebs tweets is the reason I joined twitter...iIpersonally have nothing important to say, and really don't care what everyday people have to say--but find it interesting what celebs are doing.
And I find it completely ironic that this poll is on popsugar at all, and that people voted "no"....more specifically tulipe said "i dont really care to know what the celebs...do everyday, all day long". Then why are you on Popsugar reading celeb gossip?!?! That is such an oxymoron?!?!
4@ Happsmjc : Like I said, I appreciate some information, not everything they do everyday ! And usually, I prefer to read what other people say about them (like over at Dlisted)... Way funnier... And FYI, I voted "maybe" on that poll (see ? I'm not a hypocrite)
5John Mayer usually posts funny stuff (: so I have no problem with it
6I joined mostly to follow celebs and I post replies to them a lot but I never get any back :/
7Im happy that I still dont know what this Twitter thing is
Ignorance is bliss!
8I'm with 356UIK! I'm still trying to understand what it is!
9I like it when my favorite celebrities twitter.
10no i think that it's really annoying because then we're hearing about EVERYTHING that they do - and i'm never THAT interested in the second by second count of their activities
11Oh I completely understand (about preferring to read what others write about celebs) Tulipe...I didn't just mean you! I think this whole poll is pretty funny!
12I like it. It's kinda fun. At least, it's better and more entertaining than seeing pictures of celebs buying toilet paper. *shrugs*
13Certainly, there's a lot of useless info on twitter, but then again so is on MySpace and FaceBook, and whatever else is out there. *shrug*
Am I the only one on Earth who doesn't know what Twitter is????
14Twitter has potential but I'm still not a huge fan. . .and John Mayer is wrong, because people ARE talking about what the president is doing.
15Hell no. I've already said- I think one of them started it in the first place to cash in. John's irritating enough as it is.
Twitter is just 'Chatter' ... same difference.
16I also didn't know about twitter. But I agree that John really comes off poor he really puts himself so low by confirming that he spends 9o% of his time reading and blogging which many stars don't have time. Poor Jen please just find a real man for yourself that loves u for u not for his own publicity and his own sales.
17I can't stand that douche bag. I think he can be rented out for cheap. He is not funny.
18some of them are really funny!!
19john mayer just proves what an idiot he is when he writes (twits) something like that. the octomom story is a distraction from the faltering economy and all the negative things that come with it which reflect poorly on the current presidency. if he knew anything about the media he'd realize this. being a media wh*re dosnt make you knowledgeable in the subject. idiot.
20oh and i hate twitter.
I will never get into Twitter unless Christina Aguilera starts posting/tweeting.
21I like when celebrities use Twitter, it's interesting to see their private pictures/video and random thoughts. I follow John Mayer but he's can be annoying at times, Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 and Michael Ian Black are hilarious. Demi & Ashton seem really devoted to Twitter, they are pretty cute.
22^ if I had a man in my life who loved me like Ashton loves Demi...I wouldn't even talk to you guys on this mess. The dust would be on my keyboard instead...
23Twitter is fake at times and no proof that its really them. There are about 12 Robert Pattinsons on Twitter all pretending to be him but he doesn't have one- he is a simple kind of man not into the high tech stuff like using a computer to chat:)
24@care0531 - I am a huge Rob fan, but seems to me he's more into drinking than computers -- nothing to do with being a simple man.
I follow a few. I prefer the ones who tweet life stuff over self promoters.
25john nobody mayer shut it you media hoe
26OMG John mayer SHUT UP.
27You are a loser, and no one cares what u think. Maybe your desperate woman, thats about it.
LOL LOL LOL LOL
28Rain Wilson (Dwight from the office) is the reason I signed up for a twitter account, he's hilarious but other than that I don't really follow other celebrities on twitter.
29Demi & Ashton are adorable together on Twitter. I enjoy the humorous Twitterers: John Hodgman, Felicia Day, James Gunn, Rainn Wilson, Mindy Kaling.
30The best ones are the ones who understand and are interested in their fans.
The Twitter concept still seems so strange to me. Why would anyone want to know what I just ate or really mundane stuff like that? I'm thinking it's really going to change the celebrity-to-fan interaction and celebrities are going to be even MORE accessible than before. Gone will be the days when celebrities seemed "unreachable" or "mysterious." But times change...
