The show is kinda boring even the performances are also boring. Victoria does kinda look like a doll *more like a robot*.
The only high light for me is Johnny depp *SO FREAKIN' HOT*

This was sooo boring. Sarah Silverman is sooo annoying. Will and Sacha were dumb on stage. Everyone is so desperate to get a laugh they just end up going way over the top. Rihanna's performance was terrible and her outfitt was a shocker, Bad! Jack Nicholson acted really weird, maybe he's just getting old and felt out of place or nervous. What was that song by that ugly girl with the tattoo's? Very odd performance, was she for real? Needless to say, I thought the show was crap.

Paris totally got served but that show really needs some Chris Rock to liven everything up. Sarah was sooo boring. in fact the whole show sucked period.

I've seen better from years before. Sarah S. wasn't that funny. She was funnier at the Independent Spirit Awards - not this year (didn't watch it), but last year. My favorite highlights: Gerard Butler, Kevin James, Paris' dress and she looked really pretty, and I think that's it.

Sarah Silverman is rude, for her to do anything different would have been wrong. I don't remember any of the movie awards being all that interesting. Especially in recent years when they have tried to make it slightly more legit. It was better the first couple of years when it was a complete joke. I was however completely irritated with the 2 hour Transformers commercial, even though I do plan on seeing it

The awards were as boring as the Transformers commercial that they called the pre-show. Sarah Silverman isn't funny (and I don't like Paris but I felt bad for her too). The only highlight was Johnny Depp. Even the music performaces sucked.

I highlight of my night was Sarah Silverman busting on Paris Hilton. It's about time someone had the guts to say something about the situation.

This was one of the most boring award shows I have ever watched! Sara Silverman tore Paris up!!!!! I was so embarrassed for her....The Transformers thing just got on my nerves MTV needs to step it up

I agree about Amy Whinehouse, I love her but even my husband commented that she looked really uncomfortable or nervous.

I didn't watch the show, and I probably won't lol. I saw Sarah Silverman's comments about Paris and they went way to far. It wasn't even funny.

I didn't find this to be that great of a show, but I thought Sarah Silverman was funny...but I don't like Paris, and think she deserves whatever she gets. I thought Gerard Butler was pretty funny, too. I loved the Transformers stuff, but I also loved the cartoon when I was a kid and can't wait to see the movie. Oh, and the Will Ferrell/Sasha Baron Cohen kiss was hilariously uncomfortable. Plus, I got to see Jonny Depp, not once, but twice...yea!

Only saw the Sarah Silverman part, and have to agree with several posters, that she's just not funny. She does crude, but crude without being humorous. I think she's probably really smart, so I wish she'd hone her craft and bring up the quality.

Paris reacted about as well as anyone could have, and I'm no fan of hers. Hopefully, she'll learn some life lessons in the next few weeks, and maybe retain a few of them?

Molly, you hit the nail on the head with calling the show a 2 hour advertisement for Transformers. Not that I was going to see the movie before, but now I'm thinking it's got to be pretty bad if they are pushing it so hard.
