Kate Winslet and her daughter Mia made a run for their car in chilly NYC on Wednesday. Now that award season is over Kate has a lot of free time to spend with her family. She's usually such a busy bee, but it must be nice to just relax and return to her non-Hollywood routine as she contemplates her next project.

1i think that it's great that mia's along for some down time in NYC. i don't know how often she gets to come over here, and i'd assume that it's not ALL that often since she's in school.
