Jennifer Lopez hit the stores with her close friend Leah Remini on Saturday in LA. Some girl time may be just what Jennifer needed after getting slapped with a lawsuit last week regarding the rights to the idea for Monster-in-Law. J. Lo seems to have her hands full of legal issues these days, but lucky for her she can shop away while her lawyers sort out the messes.

i love seeing that leah is such GREAT friends with so many power couples. it shows that when you share beliefs - you can make friends right?
as for jennifer and the rights to the idea - it's been such a LONG time since that movie came out. why are people freaking out about it now? that's just dumb in my opinion.
1Can someone explain to me why JLo is getting sued for Monster In Law. She was just an actress in it, it wasn't like she was the one who stole the story.

3what i find funny is that the story in of itself is pretty standard and monstrous mother-in-law. i am sure many folks could relate to that;)
