The sequel to the Sex and the City movie hasn't even begun filming yet, but there's already talk of what's to come for some of our favorite ladies. Chris Noth hinted that the producers are "probably thinking" about Carrie and Big having children, but that he doesn't really know. If the rumors are true, would you be interested in seeing Carrie and Big as parents?

I think adoption would work best.
No. It doesn't fit for either, but particularly Big.
Heck, yeah! They should be as miserable as the rest of us
they shouldnt be together at all after the way he jilted her at the altar. I'm still pissed she took him back
it could work...i guess...idk
no, it doesn't suit her character whatsoever.
I'm not going to see this if they are going that route. It's totally unrelated to the television series at this point. Beating a dead horse.
I complete agree, fleurfairy!
I'm so over SATC, sorry, and I'm happy I didn't have to pay for the tickets to see the movie.
I want her to have kids with him even though I know it is not in their character's personality!
I second the idea that they adopt!
Wishful thinking!
Oh no kids, please! One thing that was so great about SATC was that they presented lots of different options for living your life happily. Not everyone wants kids, and it's refreshing to see a person on TV or in the movies who feels the same way. Parenthood is hard, it's not the right choice for everyone (although movies, tv and even this blog at times make it seem like a requirement for happiness).
They should just STOP right now. The last movie was a wreck!!!!!!
Carrie Bradshaw the ultimate last hope for single girls everywhere: pregnant? It makes me want to cry.
"Carrie Bradshaw the ultimate last hope for single girls everywhere: pregnant? It makes me want to cry. "
This is why I said adopting would be a lot better. I can't see her pregnant at all!
I don't see how kids fit into either of their characters or lifestyle. I know Carrie is super cute with Charlotte's adopted daughter, but I cannot see her with her own child.
Is the only option in life to get married and have kids???
This would be bad. I wouldn't want to see Carrie with her own kid. It would be far too cliche. It's time to send a different message: "You don't have to get married AND have kids."
yes! that would be fun
No! Did the producers/directors even watch Sex and the City, the show?
Let us for once have a heroine who is not pursuing motherhood, but finds happiness elsewhere.
Let it be. The story's over
but you have to remember back to the last season, when she was with the russian and she was debating if she thought that she wanted kids or not. she decided not cause he couldn't have them, but was that what she really wanted? i think that there's just something to be said about bringing that out again. she's a great god mother to brady (anyone else bothered that his name is now brady brady).?
Wow! What is with all the baby-haters on this site. I love SATC and much as the next person and I am married with a child. I guess I am the minority of all of you. Wow, shocking!
There shouldn't even be a second movie, let alone one with Carrie and Big starting a family.
Yes, ilanac13! I also noticed that Brady's name is Brady Brady lol. I thought I was the only one bothered by that!
Maybe it's Brady Hobbs-Brady! Hahaha!
ilanac- I thought his name is Brady Hobbes (Miranda's last name)?
can i get a f*ck no?! lameplot idea, both are quite frankly too old to be in the baby making business.stop with all the babies, i like that carrie doesnt have kids and doent seem to want them, its hard enough to like her materialistic self absobed character now they want to add a baby? f*ck that sh*t.
I dont think it would suit either of their characters.
Adoption could be an issue.(like Charlotte did)

I second that
Isn't she too old to conceive anyway? Adoption or a foster child might be nice.
But when she was debating whether or not she wanted to have children she was about 36. In the first film she was 40 and now she would be 42 or 43... If she got pregnant I think it would be premeditated and not by chance... so in my opinion it's more probable that the plot is about the couple deciding getting pregnant
Hey Spider78! Nobody's hating on babies. Just saying that it's refreshing to have a heroine who is happy and fulfilled without. I don't have kids myself by choice...and it was a hard decision to make, but the right one for me. It's just nice to see a character who struggled and made the same decision.
Yeah, I think it's time that we start sending a message out to society that life doesn't revolve around being married AND having kids. Really, kids just make your life worse!
i liked the show because it was about being happy even though you weren't like everyone else in your age bracket. so i agree. nice to see a married couple that doesnt need children to feel fulfilled in life.
I am glad to see them happy but I don't see them being parents unless its somethign that falls into their laps. Like one of her friends has a kid but something life threatin happens to the kids parents and she was left to care for him- something out of the world like that. I can't even see Adoption as an option.
I'm not a baby-hater (I want tons of kids!) but I don't think they should have kids. It so doesn't fit with their characters.
No!!! you cant have sex in the city with kids.. hehe
nah...neither of their characters r meant 2 have children. it just doesnt go with their personality
to back up ilanac's comment...there is also the episode were carrie talks about her abortion and also an earlier on (season 1 or 2) where she misses her period @ the baby shower (yes i have seen WAY too much SATC!!).......so babies have been on her mind throughout the whole show.
i don't know....if carrie ends up preggo, the writers better not have big freak out and leave her AGAIN. if he does that again, i will be pissed.
No - it just doesn't seem to suit them or their lifestyles. I think of them as childlike in their relationship w. eachother.
Leave the baby making to Charlotte. I say the story should focus more on Miranda and Steve!
Brady is name Brady b/c Miranda wanted part of Steve's name to be given to the baby even though they were not married or even together at the time.
