He's basically been in 2 serious relationships, and has known Brit since they were teenagers. Kind of obvious. I wish they would get back together, lol. i always wanted them to get back together too. i just like the happy ending type thing. even if they're not really that happy, as long as they can delude me that they are, then for some reason i can just go about my daily existence a little bit easier. haha. i'm such a lame-o. but god, i remember how i seriously like cried for DAYS when brad and jen broke up, was soo distraught over other stuff like meg ryan and dennis quaid, and don't even get my started on my severe depression that resulted from zack and kelly's break up on saved by the bell. and that was actually just tv. but i honestly remember being in like 5th grade and CRYING myself to sleep b/c of it!!! uh yeah, now that celebrity divorces are as common as their marriages i'm starting to take it a bit lighter. thank god.

I really like the song. I think the whole situation is pretty funny. Cameron has to be okay with it. I can't see her not knowing in advance that he had a song like this on his new album. Oh, that made me sad on several levels. 1) Neither of them are that hot or successful anymore. Remember when they were superstars and ruled the celeb world? 2) I hope that Brit isn't actually as unhappy as many of us (Justin included, apparently) imagine her to be. I don't want Brit to be unhappy. 3) I'm a little disturbed that Justin can't seem to move on. No matter how depressing her current situation is, Brit definitely seems to have moved on... for better or for worse, so to speak. He either needs to fight for her (you know, like just show up at her house and be all, "Baby, I love you and I always have and I'm taking you and your babies out of here and we're going to build a new life for ourselves where we'll be just as happy and hot as we used to be..." - which is the route I'm pulling for, btw) or he needs to shut up about it. This current festering-bitterness-as-publicity-stunt thing is NOT attractive.

There was a time when I wished that Justin and Brit coulda made it work...but unfortunately that time has passed. Brit is content with that loser of a husband and Justin is stuck with ugg mug Cameron. I got the advance CD about a week ago, and I have to say that this one, along with 'Losing My Way', stood out to me as my favorites. I'm mean, c'mon even if you don't like JT you have to admit that the song(s) seriously knocks.

But on to other things; I know that this song is, in fact, not about Brittany. But Justin is not stupid, and he knows people on sites, like this one, will talk about it. It's sort of the plan. So you either buy into it, or just love the song for what it is: A Hot ass song. (esspically the 2nd part.No need for speculation.

How untalented do you have to be to continue to milk all the publicity you can out of a relationship that's been over for, what 4 years?! Britney gets more publicity for NOT making music than he does. He should just give up, his musics no good anyhow. He's a boy band without the band!

Like I said in the other previous posts about JT, I really like him, and regardless of how you feel about him, it's obvious he has talent... I dunno, I don't really think it's about Britney. He said in a recent interview that it's about a friend who had a similar experience, and his friend Trace comes to mind. He was engaged to Elisha Cuthbert and then all of a sudden, she was with a new guy... who knows. Even if it is about Brit, does it matter? They have known eachother since they were kids, were eachother's first love... of course he's always going to be apart of her life, and vice versa. Bottom line, it's just a song and I really think people shouldn't read into it and just let it be what it is: a good song.

I always felt Brit got with K-Fed because he "reminded" her of JT. Then, of course, realitymust have hit her, that K-Fed isn't even a poor man's version of JT. I've always wished that JT and Brit could get back together. But people outgrow each other. It's kind of sad that they're not even friends anymore, though.

I think that even if the song is about Britney, it doesn't mean JT is secretly still in love wiht Britney. I think that since Brit was in his life for so long, seeing stories about the state of Britney& K-Fed's marriage could inspire him to write this song, but that it doesn't mean he's still in love or bitter about the break-up or that Cameron has anything to worry about.

Oh....this song is SOOOO about Britney. I think they will end up together....just because they were younger (which 20 isn't too young to be serious about someone), doesn't mean their love was not for real. They still carry a torch for each other.
