Not shocking. That DJ woman Lindsay hangs out with all the time makes money from photos of Lindsay. Those photos taken that night she was trashed she basically arranged by stopping for the paps and letting them take the pictures.

Though Lindsay has no reason to leave Promises to go to the gym. They are basically a resort with every thing imaginable. She's not taking this seriously. It's for her image or attention.

She really needs her life sorted out, ASAP.

Perhaps if she doesn't want pictures of her playing with a knife, she probably shouldn't pose for pictures while she's doing it. Or better yet, stop the knifeplay altogether. I mean, I've done some messed up stuff in my life, but I've never held a knife to someone's head like that, even when drunk or high.

I think it's really sad that things have turned out the way they have for her, and while you can fault Lindsay all you want I think it's a problem much bigger than her.

She's (deliberately) a publicity/media wh@re. Either A)this is her own doing and she's trying to play off like it isn't, or B) Im being harsh . Either way, she walked right into it. I dont feel sorry for her...Another break from rehab huh? She's so not taking this seriously. She loves the attention she gets from her partying-she's not going to stop anytime soon. Haven't we all been guilty of hanging around people who we later realize probably was not the best idea. The difference is most of us aren't worth millions so no one cares about leaking pictures of us acting stupid.

I think she's a dumbass and I don't feel bad for her and I don't care what happens to her. She must be a f*cking moron not to realize that the people she hangs out with aren't good people. Feeding a "friend" drugs and alcohol doesn't make you a good friend. She is getting what has been a long time coming for her. People love to blame her friends and family (spec. her mom) for the way she is, but this is a woman who is old enough to make her own decisions.

I really hope Lindsay wakes up and gets real people in her life. I feel a bit bad for her. I mean, this started (for the most part) when her parents got divorced. And then her dad gets thrown in prison, all the while, her mother is hawking her for everything shes worth. You know, Id almost kinda like to see her and Brit become friends. It could turn into a total train wreck for both of them. But I think if they are both actually commited to their recovery that they could become good friends. And everyone needs good freinds. Not friends that will sit there and watch you blow your mind away, then put you in her car, passed out and slumped over, drive to a gas station and park the car and just let the paps have at it.

I do feel bad for her. She has no "real" friends, her parents are even worse. She has no one looking out for her best interests. I think it was probably her wannabe mom who leaked the photos. She thought she could get famous from them somehow.

Beth, yes she is capabale of making her own decisions. But when you are raised by someone like Dina, right and wrong become blurred. I dont know them personally. But from Dinas recent actions (spending her time trying to get a tv show so she can sell out her other two kids too, instead of spending time with Lindsay in rehab) I can only assume that shes not the best mother. Children are products of their environment. And when you mother is money hungry famewh*re WHO PARTIES RIGHT ALONG SIDE YOU and your father got thrown in prison (and also admits to having problems with drugs and alcohol) you cant really be expected to be perfect.

(first I want to say that Im not really sure why Im defending Lindsay here, but I am)

What 20 year old doesnt keep photos of themselves and friends having fun. yes, the knife pictures are a little wierd and a little creepy. But to say that because they got leaked that means she wanted them to found is ludacris. They were in her home, where she probably thought they were safe. because she obviously thought that her "friends" were really her friends. I doubt she wanted those photos to be seen by everyone, but hopefully it will be a learning experience for her.

I dont feel bad for her. First of all, don't get all sh*t-faced in public constantly if you don't want the media attention. so true. Its not just in the celebrity world that stuff like this happens. I used to be into that whole club/party/drug scene and then one day I woke up and realized that most of the people I was considering friends wouldnt give a sh*t less if something happened to me, because it would interupt the party. Those kinds of people are ALWAYS thinking about where the next party is, who they can get another 8ball from, or whether those shoes look good with that dress. Its sad, but true. And hopefully these girls will wake up before something truely terrible happens to them, but some of them (cough paris cough) i dont have much hope for, because they are the ring leaders.

I don't feel sorry for her in the slightest! She is famous. People will pay big bucks for pics of her, eps. "scandelous" ones. If you know these things, DON'T TAKE THE DAMN PICTURES!! Yeah, there are lots of pics of me misbehaving, but no-one is gonna pay a bunch of money for them! All that aside, why the hell is she leaving the facility? She doesn't have to! But the best part about LL is that her life is entertaining to watch. How can someone who's been to rehab twice in the last six months be a good friend, OR be friends with good people? She obviously hangs out with a very specific crowd who value money over honesty and friendship. I'm surprised no one realized that!

I do feel sorry for her, she hasn’t been brought up with the same type of boundaries/morals that most of us have. At least we don’t live with the media always trying to get our photo and people loving to watch our lives play out. Perhaps if she took one aspect of her life seriously (and perhaps that should be rehab at the moment) she might actually find that she learns something. Also, her acting should become her top priority again and really concentrate on that – not her partying/drinking/drug use

Personally the only money-hungry famewh*res that I can think of in regards to LiLo is Vanessa Minnillo(why else would she be with Nick Lachey) and Sam Ronson. It's sad that people have stooped to this level to profit off of Linds's hard times, with friends like that who needs enemies? Besides, I just hope Lindsay recovers well while in rehab.

I know not all rehab facilities are like Promises where they allow you little breaks. I don't remember Britney taking breaks while she was at Promises, or maybe I just wasn't paying attention.

I can understand visits but leaving the facility to go workout, hmm, don't know about that. And that other rehab place she went to, was a joke, because I know she left that place just about everyday.

Whatever happened to celebs going to the Betty Ford Center? I think that probably might be too strict for the younger set, but hey that's what they need.

allourregrets - we are a product of our environment to an extent, but at some point in our lives we all need to stand up and become our own person and take responsibility for our actions and ourselves. Lindsay apparently has not learned the hard lesson that you have to watch out for number 1 - yourself. It is ridiculous how people use the "she's only 20" line all the time. Please, I was living on my own and taking care of myself long before I was 20 years old. There are many young women out there whose parent's were worse than Lindsay's and we turned out just fine.
