Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz joined Blink-182's Mark Hoppus and his family for dinner in LA last night. While Pete spends a lot of time on Twitter these days, he's still talking to reporters too, most recently revealing his thoughts on Ashlee and Melrose Place. He said he hopes his wife "gets to play the b*tch" and complimented her acting skills. She apparently made her first visit to the set this week, and it sounds like Pete's not the only one getting excited to see a big change from Ashlee's 7th Heaven days.

2you know, i don't like that pete talks too much about things. he should just be quiet about ashlee's career and all that. he just shares too much like when he was on howard stern. it's like revenge of the John Mayer syndrome. no wonder they are such good friends.
