James Franco was back in costume as Allen Ginsburg on the NYC set of Howl yesterday afternoon. His schedule is jam packed between his snooze-inducing grad school lectures and working on his controversial UCLA commencement address, but he's already looking towards his next movie project. He just signed on to join forces again with his Pineapple Express costar Danny McBride for another stoner comedy called Your Highness, which is set to begin production this Summer in Ireland. James isn't all work and no play though — he recently shared his top 10 picks of films in the Criterion collection that he likes to chill out and watch.

Wouldn't it be awesome if in real life you could just wake up put on a robe- walk out your building in the city and get a coffee at your local Starbucks without anyone looking at you funny? LOL I love seeing actors wearing a rob on set- its so odd and funny.

2well - i've gone out of my apartment here in NYC before in pj pants - and not had anyone look at me funny - i guess it just depends on where you are.
anyway, it's impressive how busy he's keeping himself. i can't say i'm always compelled to see the movies that he does but at least he's always working - right?

5I love him, but don't be fooled by his good looks and seemingly sweet persona - he's actually kind of an ass and super full of himself. a friend of mine at UCLA actually dated him, and I met him (he's even hotter in person). but he is very talented, and I am excited about this movie (I love Allen Ginsburg, another nefarious egomaniac)...

I was at the Screening (Erased: James Franco 2008) of the short film by the Artist Carter on Monday Night...See photos on Popsugar...I was in the front row dead center less than 20' from him...If it is possible, he is better looking in person! After the Q&A/Discussion he stayed around for those wanting photos and autographs while chatting with people...He was very friendly to everyone that approached him...It was nice being in the same place as JF but only wish it could have been longer...Can't have everything...I hope it goes well for him at UCLA...I have mixed feelings about it but wish him well...
