Madonna continued on her visit to Malawi, despite the setback this morning when the judge
denied Madonna's adoption request. He cited the law in Malawi that an adoptive parent must live in the country at least 18 months prior to becoming the child's parent, which was waived when Madonna adopted David Banda. As expected, her lawyers have already
filed for an appeal on Madonna's behalf.
