Madonna and her children left Malawi yesterday and touched down in Heathrow, where they were greeted by Guy Ritchie. David Banda carried his new toy guitar as dad lifted him up and carried him to the awaiting helicopter. On Friday after Madonna's adoption request was denied, Guy issued a statement saying he "fully supported" Madonna's attempts at adopting Mercy, was "saddened" at the rejection, and described her as a "fantastic and loving mother." Despite heading back to the UK, Madonna filed an appeal soon after the ruling in Malawi, and it sounds like she has an ally in Guy if she needs it.

well it's nice to know that although they are divorced, guy's not going to hold grudges against anything. it's a shame that things are turning out like they are, but hopefully the tides will turn soon enough, and madonna will get her child, and maybe even she and guy could be friends...

8I agree that she's a little up there to be taking on new children. But I could also imagine how Mercy's quality of life would greatly improve if Madonna were to adopt her. I don't see anything wrong with giving a little child a chance at a life outside of property and full of educational and healthcare opportunities.
9well Like i said on the other thread, Rules are rules and you have to abide by them, and these judges all have different ideas on how to follow them so good luck Madonna, and lay off the botox.
10The UK papers said that Madonna and Guy didn't talk, he just got the boys and left, which sounds like they aren't on such great terms.
Oh well, someone who claims to be Mercy's father showed up, saying he didn't know about her, and willing to take DNA tests, so that could put a crimp in her plans.
