Ed Westwick flashed a smile posing with Michael Caine at a screening of Is Anybody There? in NYC last night. Over the weekend Ed was spotted on a double date with Jessica Shzor and his parents, who were in town, but for this event he was rolling solo. Ed is among the Gossip Girl cast members who are spending their hiatus recording albums — we'll see how you like it after your mixed feelings on Leighton Meester's first attempt. If that doesn't work, we'll be happily waiting for more Chuck Bass . . . or he could also continue his career as a runway model.

1Eh, hit and miss. Sometimes I think he's hot, sometimes I don't.
2Every time I see a picture of Ed Westwick, I think about this quote from Arrested Development... "Oh, they’re polite and the men all sound gay, but they will rip out your heart. And their breath..."
After that, I can't really take them (young British heartthrobs - yes, I'm also talking about you Robert Pattinson - and the "ripping out the heart" part actually works nicely with this vampire apprentice) seriously...

13i'm so tired of actors who think that they can sing. give it up! focus on just one thing and do it as well as you can.

15I think he's adorable, but I do think he has kind of a creepy look to him - like John Mayer; he looks like he'd be a perv. but I do love him on the show and I think he is so talented. I am always happy to see people who actually have talent doing well rather than the same old talentless wh*re like Lindsay Lohan or Megan Fox. and ilanac, he can sing, and he was singing before he started acting...
