It is just not Jessica Simpson's day — this morning Eminem's new video came out, which at one point makes fun of Jessica's recent weight debate and Tony. Now, her rep has confirmed the rumors that she is no longer on her country label, Sony Nashville. Apparently Jessica was only "on loan" from her original label, Sony, but it seemed like she finally might have found her groove in the country world. Jess always seems to bounce back but tell us — are you surprised Jessica Simpson is no longer on her country music label?

1Not really. She has crappy management which is basically her dad. He's a horrible manager. If I were her manager, I'd take her to a voice coach for singing lessons. Her first album was vocally good, but she needs someone to take her to that next level of singing and as an artist, I just don't think she's going to get there with her dad as her manager.
2Jess just needs to stop and focus on her life as a person not an entertainer. She seems so self conscious and out of wack lately - she should go back to being the girl next door that we used to love and stop trying so hard.

11No, when you can't remember the lyrics to your songs and have to start over which is really unprofessional. Someone said on another website that she is lazy and doesn't make too much of an effort. I agree plus I think she is really dislexic. She never graduated from high school because she was promoting a Christian album. That didn't sell either.

13She went the country route b/c it was popular and feasible at the time. It didn't work for her...She has her niche, hopefully she'll find it again.

16you have to give her credit for trying something new but i think that it just wasn't the right thing for her. i listened to her sing and it just didn't seem natural to me when she was going to country route.

18I would love it if she would stop singing (she can't sing!), stop making shoes, perfume, hair pieces, jewelry, bags, and everything else. Even if I like something with her name on it (such as shoes), I will never buy any of her products just so that she can become even richer, and thus more annoying!
