Ummm its not working for me...I mean I didn't like it. It wasn't pleasant to the ears...I didn't connect with it...couldn't even groove to it. Its just noise. I hope the rest of the songs aren't this bad.

Please, it's just nice to hear a REAL artist do something after all the Heidi we've gotten to listen to lately.

Its definitely got a No Doubt flavor and she sounds great as always, but I expected something way more fun and dancable ala Hella Good or even X-Girlfriend.

Hmmm...I'm not sure. I find for me No Doubt is hit or miss because some of their music is uniquely crazy.

it's a lazy, easy cover because the original source material is waaaay too close to No Doubts earlier sound. They are not bringing anything fresh or new or interesting to the song. Tori Amos singing "Smells Like Teen Spirit"; now *that* is a good cover

yeah, i've loved them since Tragic Kingdom. Saw them live in 2002 and they were amazing. I was up in front, and got the pleasure of seeing Gavin come out on stage. Him and Gwen sang "sweetest thing," which was beautiful and romantic. I have been waiting a long time for them to go on tour again. But I have to say the cover is just ok for me, dog. I was really hoping for an original. We shall see...

I think they should stick to their original music, it was way too similar to the original song by Adam and the Ants IMO.

It's okay I think we are so use to her by herself- so I have to get back into No Doubt and then it can grow on me.

HELL YES NO DOUBT TOGETHER AGAIN!!!! I have been waiting so long for this. However, this was not their best work together. They are an amazing band with a great sound. They're trying to gel again. They still have it and I can't wait until July when I can see them play live again. P.S. Gwen is the sh*t!

It just sounds like a No Doubt song. Don't get me wrong, I've been a fan for about 13 years now, but it's not exactly ground-breaking stuff here. Not familiar with the original, so can't make a comparison there.

I love this Adam and the Ants song, they kind of massacred it in this cover version. I would have loved to hear Gwen do Adam Ant's trademark yodel and keep more of the quirkiness of the original. Or better yet, cover "Beat My Guest" instead.

the cover is pretty damn good but i think they got a little lazy. it was in their comfort zone and probably easy. its good to hear them back with their old sound again

Eh. It was ok. I dont like her british accent. Adam Ant originally sang it with a obvious accent. Gwen should have sang it Gwen style.

eh. agree with some other posts that it was too similar to the original, was hoping for a more personal take on it. also thought the tempo was a bit dirge-ish, this cover has no pep and i found myself wondering when it would be over.

At first I hated it, but it grew on me. I've never been the biggest No Doubt fan, but I am a huge Adam Ant fan. I think they did a pretty good job at keeping the Adam Ant spirit in it.

This is a pathetic cover of a classic Adam and The Ants song. Gwen Stefani doesn't have the pipes or the moxie to pull this song off. So lame, such a shame. I'd be angry if I were Adam Ant.

I hate it because it was a horrible song in the first place, No Doubt might have even made it better...a bit. I heard they were given a choice to cover a song, and they chose this stupid song, what a bad decision.

I've always been a huge fan of No Doubt. Loved Tragic Kingdom (one of the best albums of all time), digged the "Return of Saturn" era (although, it wasn't really their original style). The problem about No Doubt was that Gwen started to show her "true likes", taking the band away from their original sound. And I was afraid when I heared they were coming back in 2009. I just thought: "Mmmm...I don't really wanna listen to this new "No Doubt", specially with Gwen with all her "Bananas" posse". And I knew I was right! This new song it's just...meh! Well, it's a cover, and it's only one, but if all the songs of the new album will sound like this, then I know this will suck badly! C'mon Gwen...just stick to sing what the band create and stop shoving your taste into their minds! >_

I liked it! Personally, I hate it when bands do a cover and it sounds nothing like the original...when they try to "make it their own". I don't know, maybe I'm just a weirdo. But I will say, when they did this song in concert it was totally rad. It sounded a lot more awesome than this recording.

Maybe it's just me, but I was expecting something a little less like Gwen's solo stuff, and a lot more like the older No Doubt. I have to admit, I'm a bit disappointed.

RainyDays is right - we need a HATE button. Please listen to the original if you haven't because it is one of the best songs of the 80's. I've loved ND since '91, back when Gwen's bro wrote all the music (i.e., when it was good). Listening to her now, it's a wonder she ever cranked out Tragic Kingdom.

I'm a huge fan of Adam and the Ants (especially the Ants). Not so crazy about the cover. I feel that if you're going to do a cover, then it's got to be as good or better than the original... Their version is OK... but not a good as the original...
