Courteney looked casual as she stopped for lunch and some shopping on Robertson Blvd yesterday. Since we all know CC and Aniston are so close, Cox can't seem to escape interviews without being asked about her famous Friend. Recently Marie Claire dared to ask her about Jennifer and here's what she had to say:
"I think it might be getting a little better now, but for a while her life was expected to be everyone's life. Look, I don't want to be rude or anything, but I usually don't talk about Jennifer in interviews. People should stop worrying about her life. I could talk about just how great she is doing at the moment, but then it's just an interview about her. I understand your position because her world is so public but, well, I can tell you we're both very fortunate to have each other."
Sounds like it. These two are always ready to back each other up. We understand why Courteney is tired of people asking her about Jennifer all the time but it's hard to expect that they won't! She's got quite an extraordinary best friend!

9I regularly interview celebrities for my job - and I can tell you that NONE of them like to talk about anyone other than themselves. That's just not how the promotion machine is supposed to work. This may be a little bit of sistah solidarity, but probably not as much as you think.

23lol its true people always pity or praise jennifer aniston and worry about her or take her side n say team aniston because they hate angelina jolie for being w/ brad when really its brad that they shouldn't like and its their personal life anyway u shouldn't hate angelina just cuz u feel bad for jen when jennifer aniston herself probably has been over it for years, and that whole brad thing was like, what 2003, 2004? and 3 years later people still hate angelina, even if she does a lot charity work n stuff, they never let go of something that didn't even happen to them and some of the people who hate angelina probably don't even have any other reason to hate her other than that stupid jennifer aniston reason, and when she adopts a baby or does UN work they say she's puttin on an ACT to make up for her "homewrecking"!?!! do u really think the UN would hire her as a goodwill ambassador if she is such a horrible person!? I am guilty of disliking people who aren't really celebrities like Paris Hilton and Vanessa Minillo, but I have my reasons, lol well not so much for vanessa i just find her annoying. oh and rachel ray annoys the hell outta me, but Angelina I actually respect her. And Jennifer Aniston, well i only liked her in her Friends days, nowadays I never hear about her unless its in this site, & i haven't seen any of her movies (cept for Along came polly, which was brilliant cuz of ben stiller hah). anyways now im just rambling..

32It's pretty rude of any reporter to ask a celebrity about their famous friend...especially when their famous friend isn't doing anything! It's like saying, "Congrats on your show, it's great! You're pretty cool, too... but that friend of yours...she's so much more interesting than you!" Definitely in bad taste!

39Jennifer and Courtney always remind you that they are inherently REAL people, not just celebrities. Their friendship seems to be really awesome; everyone should have a friend like that.
40They are great friends, but i think this answer is more about Courtney then their friendship, basically the interview said, you are not interesting, so lets talk about Jennifer and how she is dealing with the divorce.
41And i would be pissed too, and also Jennifer PR team must be VERY worried with this, no matter how many films she works, how many contracts she signs, how much money she has, the media can't leave that break up in the past and it must be exhausting for her.

43i agree completely with you playsindirt, i mean the only hindrance to courteney is her age,seriously if she was 10 years younger she would have ruled hollywood,i think jen became more famous coz she married sexiest man alive,thats it,courteney has never got a chance to expose her talent i think she is a very good actress soo underrated....i recently saw the movie runner she was gr8 at it....i hope she does some good movies in future
