Not only has Ben never looked better but now his career is back on track. I say he just admits it's a comeback even if he thinks it's impolite. Ben just won the best acting award at the Venice Film Festival for his role in Hollywoodland. Nice work Ben. Welcome back!

5I liked him with Jennifer Lopez. Colour me crazy, but I loved him when he was so dolled up with the great suits and the tan. It looked like old Hollywood where people cared about their looks, and Jen Lopez definitely cares about her looks.
Go Ben! He can be very funny in some interviews I've seen.

14The green dress she wore at the Oscars a couple years ago with Ben Affleck. She looked like Jackie O because she had worn a dress like that decades ago. And Ben looked good because of the slicked back hair, tight suit and tan. Remember?
15I LOVE him in Jenny from the Block. After they split, Jennifer L had MTV, VH1, etc pull the video permanently.

17No way! I didn't know that. MTV has had a lot of videos that they refused to show, like that one Madonna video with all the half naked people. I think it was call "Justify my love" and that badly produced and directed video by Britney called "Do something" Here in Canada, on Much Music, they will play anything. They don't respond to threats.

21i read something (or heard it) that the trailers for Hollywoodland did best when ben's part was very small. people are still down on him because of the jlo thing. i have always thought he was cute and liked him with her but i like him better with jen g and their baby.
22I saw Hollywoodland - in a packed theater on a Sunday afternoon - he was great - and most of the comments were that there was too much dective and not enough Superman stuff - he won that award honestly and by himself - so that SHOULD stifle the idiots who say he can't act. I am so happy to have found a site that doesn't automatically trash him casue they're trying to be funny.

34I saw Hollywoodland twice, once in previews and once just tonight. They actually added back in more of the backstory because there was a favorable reaction to Ben Affleck after the first go around of previews. When I saw it first, his part was abbreviated. When I saw it tonight, they had fleshed it out and it and he was wonderful. The film was well written, well acted, and Adrien Brody was phenomenal as were Robin Tunney and Diane Lane.

43Just one thing, if you're looking for any answers on what really happened to George Reeves, you won't get it, because as some girl sitting behind us said:
"Like, they can't tell you how it REALLY ended because the case is like still open and they're like still investigating and like, they don't want to get, like, sued and stuff."
I'm afraid I snorted out loud when she said that. In any event, there are no sure answers and there's no easy wrap up - for any of the plotlines. But that's a good thing, in my opinion. There are a few "David Lynchian" moments - any David Lynch fan will pick out the moments in an instant - just weird little things that seem totally incongruous to the film. And there are also some great lines, don't be afraid to laugh at some of them!
