Shia LaBeouf joined a few other celebrities at The Wonder of Reading's Explore-a-Story: A Celebration of Books event in LA on Sunday. After posing on the red carpet in his favorite t-shirt, Shia took the stage to share a story with the kids. A shave would have gone a long way for his look, but we'll give him a break so long as he cleans up a bit before showing his face everywhere to promote Transformers 2.

1i can't say that i disagree with the beard comment - the boy should shave. there are some guys that are great with the scruff look - but him - not quite
