Gwyneth Paltrow made time to pick up Apple and Moses from their school in LA yesterday. The actress has been busy on the set of Iron Man 2, but at the end of the day it's time to put away the Pepper Potts wig and make sure her kids are getting used to their new California digs. The West Coast isn't a totally new environment for Gwyneth's kids — they spent two Summers ago in LA when mom was working on Iron Man — and at least there are lots of longtime celebrity friends to spend holidays and weekends with.

well i'm glad that she has them in school here while she's filming the movie. a lot of parents don't seem to have that need for their kids when they are 'away from home' i hope that IM2 is as good as the first one!

At almost 5 Apple does seem a bit old to be thumb-sucking and blankie clutching, but every kid is different I guess.

7It's rather weird to see a child her age looking like a baby. What is up with the boys hair??? I know it is a celeb trend to let their boys hair grow long , but it is so not right it looks like crap.
8I don't really like her, especially after she started doing that stupid GOOP thing. She seem to be self righteous and annoying. Not to mention her post about the frenemy thing, so immature. She should blog about how her daughter still suck her thumb at 5, that would be a good post. Sorry.. but I dislike her

10I also agree with you ski, I'm sorry but at 5 it's ridiculous for Apple to suck her thumb. Iv'e seen a lot of other pictures of her doing that and carrying around a security blanket
11So what if Apple sucks her thumb or has a special blanket? She's still a little girl. Why are people so insistent on making kids grow up so fast? Loads of kids have a blanket or a special toy they carry around, and they all grow up just fine. Why do people even care? At least she's with her kids and being a good mother - isn't that more important than the length she chooses for her son's hair?
