She's a mess and she shouldn't have done that interview. She looks so much older than 22, she looks like her mom. She's anorexic and she looks like she's a junkie. No I don't think that she's clean at all. I used to have a friend who was high all the time and I can recognize junkies pretty easily now. She shouldn't have done the show at all.

I think Ellen has some good advice there. She does need to go away and then slowly get her career back on track. No one believes that she's stable at all.

I couldn't hear a word she was saying, I was too mesmerized by how scary skinny she is. I knew she was wasting away, but I didn't know she was THAT sickly.

Lindsey looks great, she is skinny, but that's what is required in her career. Ellen's advice about getting away is understandable but maybe not for Lindsey. The fact that she is going to be back on the scene maybe what she needs. I'm excited to see what she's been working on....Go 'Head Lindsey!!! (I'm rooting for you)

dude.. this girl is on drugs. and she's in total denial. she's not crazy, she just enjoys pretending she is. what a train wreck. the worst part is, you know this chick is gonna end up on "where are they now" or something. she's like the chick who screwed the entire football team and now no one wants to be seen with her. it's kinda sad.. you can see poor ellen is trying to give her sound advice without "telling her what to do" ... i love you, ellen!

She doesn't need to get her career back on track, she needs to disappear. This girl is a waste of perfectly good oxygen.

this was so painful to watch... i don't think she came across badly but the conversation just didn't flow and it seemed really awkward.

to be honest yes she does look skinny here but nothing compared to the pic of her in the white dress posted yesterday.

I feel like she isn't making much sense in this interview. I love how she has been mocking her US Weekly interview with the "I am so alone" headline - and then she didn't answer when Ellen, said "well did they get it wrong? Did you say this to them?" I really think Lindsay needs to take Ellen's advice and move away and live quietly for some time. But I think this would be impossible for Lindsay to do since she is addicted to fame.

why does she make it seem like a big deal that Ellen asked her what was up? i assume she knew that would be brought up when she went on the show.

Ellen was doing a great job here, very surprised, trying to keep it light but also give her good advice.. LL is definitely on drug.. she really has to check herself into a rehab.. After seeing the interview, i don't think she's crazy, she just acts crazy or being portrayed as crazy..

she won't go away. she loves the attention too much. nothing wrong with that as most movie stars enjoy being in the spotlight, but the problem is she does nothing these days...no movies. she is in magazines and on tv ONLY for her personal life.

Didn't watch cause I could not care less. Matter of fact, the entire show's gone cold for me now.

4. I also enjoyed the fact that she basically avoids answering whether or not the US Weekly story is true (the story claims to have interviewed her over several phone calls - sounds pretty legitimate).

But my favorite is the fact that she has absolutely nothing to promote (no movies, shows, etc) so she obviously came on to talk about this breakup and the fallout, yet when Ellen starts questioning her about it, she acts like "oh, okay, I GUESS I'll talk about it, even though it's what I came on here to talk about in the first place." She's the biggest attention wh*re I've ever seen.

I do not believe a word she is saying, she has only being partying all this time, I think that Samantha's family had to intervened because she is such a mess that she was affecting Samantha.

She looks really bad, acts jittery, and is not saying anything coherent.

i've watched the previous guestings of lindsay on ellen, she changed all through out these years. she's slowly disappearing. it's just sad to see her this way

I feel bad for her. She's obviously in denial of her health and her emotional stability among other things. I don't think this interview helped her to look more hireable, which I think is what she was going for.

Lindsay, you look great.......just a little thought that don't drink too much/stay u up too late would bruin ur voice. Forget Sam for awhile, what kind of a friend is that having family had a restrain order and Sam did nothing to defense you. and you call that love? yes, the things i noticed was how quiet the audience was and how skinny she is! i think she should take the "hint" ellen suggested- go away from it all, take time out for herself, just "disappear" and try living a normal life

I love Ellen. She was so respectful, asked good questions and gave great advice to Lindsay.

It was painfully obvious how skinny Lindsay has become. She looks 10 lbs lighter than the picture they showed of Samantha and her. She needs to take a break from hollywood.

that has to suck to have this happen 'out of the blue' but seeing as how they openly fought all the time, i guess you can't be too surprised right? i just hope that she's able to get her career back on track since we haven't seen anything good from her in AGES

She says how she wants to concentrate on her career, but she seemed a little unsure and fidgety when she was talking about her "projects."
Agree with Ellen--she needs to take a break and go hide somewhere.
