John Mayer headed home after joining Jeff Beck onstage last night in LA. He tweeted about having been nervous for the performance, but he apparently has a new lady friend to help calm him down. John's rumored to be seeing 23-year-old aspiring actress Scheana Marie Jancan after they met during a recent evening out on the town. Whether or not their romance proves to be the real deal, it sounds like things with him and Jen are finally over for good.

1He's dating an aspiring actress? That's pretty much anyone under 25 in this town. Good luck with that one, buddy.
2I think he should slow down on the dating awhile. He's still fairly young and he doesn't have to be rushing into a relationship yet. He'll find her when the time is right.
3I don't believe he is dating here. She was probably one of the ladies he was seen with. I believe he is fake.

8that's probably good for him to have someone who's MUCH less famous than he is. he needs someone that he can be the big man in the relationship - and that was just nOT the case with jen.
9I like his music and think he is very talented, but his public persona is rebarbative. I also think he has a huge ego, and is a bit too puerille in regards to his public antics IMO. I've never thought he was good looking either, and have been suprised by some of the attractive women he has been linked to.
