I don't think we can be too quick to judge Mel.. From the stories I've heard he's been separated from his wife for years. It must of been a very difficult choice to go public in his new relationship... Maybe he's just trying to say I'm moving on. What's wrong with that?

Like the woman isn't dealing with enough unwanted publicity/intrusions now. She is going to come out of this divorce really well if he keeps this crap up.

An annulment does not render the children illegitimate. Granting an annulment does not say it never took place, merely that in retrospect it was akin to an invalid contract. What you did while in that contract is still covered, the contract itself is just no longer valid.
