Time released their annual list of the 100 most influential people in the world today, and a few of our favorite stars made the cut. Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz, and Tina Fey were honored, as well as some heartthrobs old and new — Brad Pitt and Zac Efron. We have nothing but love for these guys and it's an honor for both to be included on the influential list. So tell us who is more deserving of their spot on the list — Brad or Zac?

brad - he gives back soo much more. granted he has the means to do it more than zac and he's older but he spends a majority of his time when he's not working devoted to helping out people who aren't as fortunate. zac really hasn't contributed that much yet in his life and that may change as he gets older but as of right now i don't think that he deserves to be on the list.
1Brad, no contest. I could not care less about Zac Efron and Robert Pattinson looks dirty and stinky all the time.
2oh please enough with Brad Pitt is saving NOLA crapola. He built 1 house; took him 4 years. LMAO
3Brad Pitt and the Make It Right Foundation have raised more than $35,000,000 and have completed or started more than 14 houses with more than that expected to be completed by the end of the year. Just yesterday, a group of 15 civic activists contributed enough to build another house and the homes have been recognized and given LEED (highest certification given by the National Resources Defence Council and the US Green building Council to buildings for being green) recognition. So far, all done without government money.
4Brad is a loser. I can't stand him.
5really, how this site has gotten really lame
6Neither and that includes Pattinson. The fact that they included Zac speaks volumes about this list. I mean seriously???
7yea the guy who started to seriously give a crap about our world AFTER he cheated on his wife and left her??!!?? you people are bananas...
8zac efron till death!!!!!!!!!!!!!
9zac i love youuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!
10zac + vanessa =BEST LOVE FOR EVER!!!!!
11nice doofusface
12I don't like Brad Pitt and I think Zac Efron is about to take his spot in hollywood, BUT his MIR foundation has done more positive than Zac Efron has. I'm not a real fan of hers but I still think Angelina deserves to be on the list more than Brad Pitt because without her influence Brad wouldn't even have the MIR foundation.
13By the way, Brad looks extra waxy in that close up. For some reason I am really curious about his new face.
14So cheating on his wife makes everything that he does afterwards nothing? Ok...I think some of you have your priorities mixed up. Brad has helped to raise a lot of money for needy organizations. I'm sorry, but I don't care what he does with his personal life, he's still giving back, which is something many stars fail to do. And as much as I like Rob and Zac, they belong on other lists, not a list about the most influential people.
15*ok, sidenote: Unless he kills someone in his personal life. Then I would probably have a problem with him.
16wow completed or started 14 whole houses!!!!!! at that rate, people will die of old age in their temporary homes before getting one from brad.
17when brad was zac or rob's ages he wasn't doing anything charitable either. and just because they don't ADVERTISE it, doesn't mean other celebs don't do charity work or raise money either. Brangelina are media wh*res
18I don't understand why it is taking so many years to build the houses in New Orleans. On the sight they have eight
19houses done but they have money for 91. It has been about
four years. Who can really afford to buy these? I thought
Steve Bing donated a equal amount of money and yet he is
never mentioned. Missippi, Texas and many other states
had a lot of damage and yet they are never mentioned. If
I recall Brad was on the list for this last year too. I
think it is fine to give credit but a lot of people have
donated to this project so even if he is the figured head
he is hardly totally responsible for it. All people Orpah
built houses for have been living in them since right after
it happened. Dozens donated and have help since the day it
happened. Ellen has worked really hard on the project
and she isn't on the 100 list, why?
A friend of mine who works on Green projects for Michael Bloomberg told me that the word in environmental circles is that Brad's New Orleans project is a huge disaster. They've only built a dozen homes in the past 2 years even though they promised to build more than 150. Brad is hung up on design and trendiness while people are forced to live in trailers waiting for their homes. They don't have the luxury of living in a $70,000 a month castle on the French Riviera. Like all of Brad's charity work, once he's done with the press conferences and photo-ops he only stops by once a year for another press conference and photo-op. Usually around the time he has a movie to promote.
20If we ever get done with New Orleans, can we
21start helping some of the people that are
living in tent cities? We still have a lot
of the people from that area living in our
state and they won't go back. They can't
afford too and after the length of time,
they are at home here which is fine.
I agree with scout, I think that is just
22what is happening. I have no idea who is
running it but it not the most efficent
project. He's had a lot of money for
several years not to have accomplished
more. People were very generous donating.
Why isn't the money we donated being used?
I thought Steve Bing donated the same a-
mount Brad did and he is never even talked
about.
Can this site not settle for a simple "Brad", "Zac", or "neither" ?? I think Brad has definitely earned his spot more than Zac, and it would disgust me if Robert Pattinson was on there as well. Smoking and biting people is NOT influential. Whatever. Brad's the best.
23Of course Braddy's project is a disaster. He's only doing it for the PR
24NOLA or not NOL
Robert Pattinson and especially Zac Efron are tweens who may not even have a career next year. How many pretty boys have hit movies and are on top of the world one day and after one bomb you never hear from them.
Who knows neither one of them may not be on this list next year.
Not that I have anything against the two
Brad has been a VERY successful and popular actor for over twenty years.
Well I guess you know who I chose
Don't hate me because I'm anonymous
25I would have to go with the neither. Ellen helps
26her charities and everyone elses plus this week she
helping people having a tough time. It is almost
a daily thing for her and yet she isn't never on
the list. She's just generous and likes doing it
not for fame but just because she wants to help.
definately Mr Pitt. No one will ever take Brads place.
27Brad ofcourse!!!
28He is really looking nice and fresh here!!
29Not many options popsugar!! I think this list is more about popularity when it comes to celebs. There are a lot of celebs who love to advertise everything they do. Mostly for their own benefit so obviously they will make a list like this. Personally I respect more the celebs who don't take the cameras wherever they make a donation. Now why exactly is Zac on the list? Did he make a big donation that we don't know about? Why exactly is he influencial?
30I thought this was a post about Time's list, not the rebuilding of NOLA. Because if this were a discussion about ineffective rebuilding in the Katrina zone, Brad Pitt is pretty low on the list of who could and should have done something. Geez, the actor only built a handful of new sustainable homes for people so far. Well, it's more than I did.
31Brad! ugh! Do we all forget he left his wife for the tooth pick??? ugh! Can we move on to someone else...
32... It is some weird choice you offer... Brad Pitt long time heart throb and 2 younger heart throbs... But being famous = being influencial. I don't really know what either would have done to earn such a title... If it's doing one charity event (which nobody outside the US has heard of, sorry), then I guess being influencial isn't that much nowadays.
Not that I have anything against any of them, I quite like Brad and Rob actually... It's the person doing this list whom I don't understand.
33This shouldn't even be a question. Brad hands down.
34I can't see that eight houses in three years is a big
35deal and I don't think it has been ran very effectively.
I am rather curious as to why it has taken so long. Some
of the houses are rather odd looking. Has Brad even
donated his full $5 mill. All we have ever seen is the
$2 mill. he gave last year. If we are voting on the last
year then I would have to go with Zac. He has had more
influence on the younger generation and is a very good
actor.
I see Bernie Madoff is on there too so what is this list
36really for. Maybe it's not what you actually do but what
you can get by with.
I'm tired of Brad.. Cheaters will never be forgiven nor forgotten..
37Zac!!!
38brad of course,
39most influential and most powerful
u haters go scream at ocean
well, Robert P is probably the most stalked
