Jessica Simpson rounded up her accessories for dinner at Katsuya in LA last night, where she bumped into Rihanna who was having dinner with Jay-Z. The sushi spot is a favorite in the Simpson family, though it doesn't look like Ashlee and Tina joined Jess for this particular night out. Jess seems to have fallen off the Twitter wagon lately, but her mom and dad are keeping us updated on her schedule — apparently she's been hard at work on her new collection and will be at a photo shoot for cancer awareness today.

that's so nice of her parents to update the world for their daughter. as for jess, she's looking healthy - although i'm not sure that dress is the best look for her.

5The link to Joe's twitter says he's proud that she's doing a photo shoot for cancer awareness. He's proud that she's found a sure thing (in his mind)for some much needed positive publicity.
It doesn't matter if she's fat or thin, a failed country singer and failed actress...she's against cancer, so she must be good, right?
She'll mess up the sure thing. Probably by trying to sell the cancer patients some of her wigs like she encouraged abuse victims at a shelter to "take their hearts and run in a pair of Jessica Simpson boots".
