Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise brought Connor along to check out the premiere of Star Trek in LA on Thursday night. The trio skipped the black carpet, but they were stopped by some eager fans after the screening for autographs. Both Katie and Tom were up early for business meetings yesterday — she paid a visit to Disney's offices while Tom met with Dreamworks' Jeffrey Katzenberg. Tom's once again a hot commodity in Hollywood after Valkyrie's success, so hopefully, he was getting a little advice about picking his next big role.

i'm happy for tom that he's getting to be back on top - i think that he just needed something to bring him back to the right place. as for katie - i wonder what she's going to work on if it's a disney project. she's always been more of an indie type girl.

Just because Tom promoted Valkyrie ad nauseum doesn't mean it was a success.
12I think the fact that Valkyrie didn't completely tank means it was a success of sorts--because the pre-release buzz on the film had it (and him) at almost laughably bad.

15Tom Cruise makes me sick. At least someone is advising him to stay low-profile because he usually would have taken over that red carpet as his own mugging it up for the photogs arm slung around JJ's shoulder with that maniacal grin and donkey bray. His talent has and never will match his ego.

18Yes Valkyrie was a hit. It met its budget domestically in only 6 days and also made more money internationally.
