The Staples Center continued to attract a celebrity audience as the Lakers played the Rockets in a playoff game last night. Diddy and Jay-Z smiled despite the Lakers defeat, back from their trip to Las Vegas together. Sacha Baron Cohen and Mario Lopez made an appearance, and hopefully the next game will be more successful for all of the disappointed Lakers fans.
To see more photos of the game just read more.

yes they are very boys
1Mario dates women? I didn't know that.
2An actual Sacha Baron Cohen sighting as himslef? BTW What is going on with Isla and Sacha? They were suppose to get married after Isla converted to Judaism, which she reportedly already did but so far nada. Problems in paradise?
I read last year that Sacha's mother was upset with Isla about not taking Judaism seriously. Another "problem" for Isla was when Sacha was photographed kissing and hugging a woman a few months ago at a nightclub. I saw the pics and it wasn't so innocent as some people said.
I don't think a wedding between them will ever take place. Their relationship doesn't seem as solid as Isla has portrayed it. Something's rotten in Denmark.
3Sacha Baron Cohen effin rule!! Love him!!
4isla converted YEARS ago...based on everything that i hear - they are absolutely fine...just waiting until their schedules settle before getting married.
as for mario - um..duh! didn't he date his DWTS partner for a bit?
it's nice to see that everyone's still such a Lakers fan...
5seriously, they should put these people in a sky box..I've deal with Whoppi Goldberg and Spike Lee at a Knicks game or two but damn, a Laker's game would annoy me...I can't tell if these people come to watch or have their pictures taken..not Sacha, he's not a camera wh***
6Whenever I see Sascha, one thought comes into my head
That's niiiice
7I don't believe that work schedules are the issue. They've been engaged for over seven years. It was reported that Isla converted in Fall of 2006, shortly before Borat came out. A few months later she was pregnant with Olive, who is now 18 months old. If he really wanted to marry her, he could have done it civilly before the conversion and then re-married her in synagogue at the time of the conversion or any time since then. If having a kid with her hasn't motivated him, surely a clearer work schedule won't. I also wonder if the timing of the conversion and Olive's conception weren't desperation moves on her part of hold on to him after he really hit it big.
8Contrary to reports Sacha is not an Orhtodox Jew. His parents are but Sacha is secular even though he still follows the kosher dietary laws.
What kind of conversion did Isla go through? Orthodox conversion takes years and Isla sure doesn't dress like she's Orthodox. Reform conversion is quick and easy but not recognized by Orthodox or Conservative Judaism. Another matter is that a Cohen like Sacha is prohibited from marrying a convert in Orthodoxy. If they ever get married they will have to get married by a Reform Rabbi which I don't think Sacha parents will accept. Orthodox Judaism also doesn't convert people for the reason of marriage.
Isla is a phony. She said two years ago in the "Daily Mail" that she would worship a tree if that's what Sacha wanted. Isla also said religion wasn't important to either her or Sacha. So why go through a phony conversion? This whole conversion thing is a sham to please Sacha's parents.
I've met many woman who've gone through Reform Jewish "conversions" who've told me that they still consider themselves Christian's and only "converted" to please their fiance's family. Judaism is a joke to them and Isla. That is sad and anti-semitic but I blame their Jewish boyfriends and the Rabbis who instruct them in their phony conversions.
I agree that Isla got pregnant on purpose. If a couple wants to get married they will get married no matter what. It's an excuse to say to blame scheduling. They have money so it's even easier for them. Sacha won't marry Isla and they will probably break-up soon.
9#9--You blame the rabbis and the Jewish fiances, but not the women themselves for their own lack of integrity? Don't these grown women have the capacity to make mature choices?
I was once in the reverse situation from Isla. I'm Jewish and was being pressured by my Greek Orthodox ex-fiance and his parents to become Christian. I didn't want to do it, so I broke off the engagement. No hard feelings--I just came to realize how miserable being married to him would be under those circumstances. For him, for me, and for any kids we'd have. I'm now happily married with two wonderful kids, so it turned out for the best. There are a lot of fish in the sea. But most are probably not as rich as Sacha, which I'm sure is part of the attraction on Isla's part. She was involved with a Rothschild before she met Sacha.
10I know some gentile women who have made sincere conversions and some who were insincere. It sounds like the women you know who admit doing it to make the in-laws happy lack the integrity they'd need to really make a go of an intermarriage or to raise emotionally healthy kids. It's sad.
