this is the met costume gala. no worst dressed. a lot of strangely dressed, blandly dressed, over dressed. but no worst dressed.

i mean.. it's okay to be strange, weird because it's the costume gala.. but just not out of the wack.. madonna's hat is really out there, it just makes her look like a crazy person (or maybe she really is)

Leighton Meester's outfit is really interesting and unusual--I think it is oddly beautiful...

Out of all of these Madonna and Leighton are the worst (but I voted Madonna) and look horrible overall. The rest look kind of okay but just odd in a few places. There were others on the guest list that looked far worse!

Madonna's outfit is total karma, just for being her godawful self. It's like someone played a joke on her and she didn't realize it in time. Loves it!

it's such a shame that leighton wore what she did. she's usually got GREAT fashion sense and just completely missed it this time.

All of them wore crazy outfits and I loved it. I voted Jessica Biel as worst dressed. Her Versace is gorgeous, yet so dissonant with her plastic lips. Jessica Alba, you take the #2 place... this time.

I actually LOVED jessica alba's, she's so cute and I like her informal like that. leighton's is def. weird but i get that it's artistic. there's no excuse for madonna's at all... she's gone crazy

I think Madonna's crazy outfit was expected, but Leighton was just a huge miss for me. Not even that I hate the outfit, because I think it can look great on someone else. Leighton just cannot pull it off.

leighton's was horrible. madonna's was too. but madonna's outfit wasnt even that ugly... the hat was. i thought leighton's overall appearance was atrocious

I just cannot stand Madonna, and I wanted to vote for her just because of that. But I honestly thought Leighton was ridiculously awful, so she got my vote.

Of all the photos I've seen of this event, I actually would say that Rachel Weisz was probably my least favorite. Her light pink dress was pretty standard with a really ugly bit of green tulle sticking out from underneath and her make-up and styling was just horrendous.

All of the ones picked were among my least favorites. I know its the MET costume gala but I didnt like anyone of those.

Is everyone going to like leighton's outfit? No....but it's styled and has more creativity than something boring, like Biel and Tyra. The one thing I wish is that leighton should have had brown hair for this outfit...her hair is a bit too reddish.

Ugh, and please don't get my started on Jessica Alba. What is she even doing there? She has no fashion credibility...the only thing this girl knows how to do is look pretty and that is just so boring!

But the rest are all crazy, although there's something about Leighton's outfit that I like, so I voted Madonna. That thing on her hair and those boots are inexusable.

Madonna hands down! Leighton would've looked good without the leggings and Jessica B. and Tyra are both ok. Jessica A. is beautiful but she should've lost the tights. Anne is looking amazing though, very 60ish!

Madonna hands down looks a hot mess. I love her but I might even say the same thing if Angelina wore that hot mess(but she never would, EVER). That outfit was just wrong.

Rachel Weisz was probably one of the best dressed at the ball but i agree with the list wholeheartedly.

Call me crazy but I actually liked Leighton outfit..the Jessica's Biel dress is beautiful but the tan was too much!!..And my vote is to Madonna..She's definitely a MESS.

I feel like Madonna was just trying to hard...it was a TOTAL miss in my opinion. She looked absolutely ridiculous.

Leighton, on the other hand, looked fantastic. I think we're all forgetting what the event was...i mean it's all about fashion and designers - let's not forget some of the crazy haute couture getups that we see every year. I think overall, with the hair and makeup, she looked amazing and wasn't afraid to take a risk. The funny thing is, I think the leggings are actually what turned people off on this outfit - otherwise, everyone would have loved her look!

Leighton's actually isn't that bad as long as you ignore her from the knees down. Madonna is just Madonna. The fact that people can't stand what she is wearing is one of the things that made her who she is.
