Reese Witherspoon was in San Francisco yesterday to help celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Avon Foundation Comprehensive Breast Center at SF General Hospital. She spent time with survivors, kicked off fundraising for the annual Avon training walk, and said she looked forward to a world without breast cancer. Reese is ever the dedicated Avon ambassador, bringing her smile and great attitude wherever her support is needed.

7you have to love that she's one of the few celebs that manages to work for a brand like this and do it for a while. she's been with Avon for a really long time it seems, and that's kind of out of the ordinary i think these days.

10regardless of whether she gets paid by Avon, she really has her heart in charity work. I volunteer with the Make a Wish foundation, and Reese is one of the best when it comes to granting a child's wish. She has even invited some wish recipients back to her home to spend time with her. She doesn't just talk to talk in my opinion. And I can guarantee that she does not get paid by Make a Wish. She's a class act.

13Ilanac, I was going to comment on that, too. It's not really a secret that she gets paid, but she obviously feels connected to the work she does. She's been an Avon spokesperson for a long time. It's nice to see her do a promotion that she actually cares about, and isn't just collecting a paycheck for.
