i think that it's fine - to be honest. they met years ago and still manage to remain friends and they are both power houses in the industry so it's just great in my opinion that they stay friends. i'd wear a ring from a FRIEND .....even though i'm married.

She's confident in who she is and her relationship with her husband--- how great! Besides she seems like the kind of person that wouldn't wear such a ring if it was going to cause problems. Not to mention also seems very family focused and committed to Sam and the kids-- unlike Leo who is just enjoying life and his current girlfriend. They're friends-- not a romantic love thing.

When I first read that, it was pretty much the fulfillment of all my "what if Jack made it off the Titanic" fantasies. But it's ok to wear a ring from him, they've had a long frindship and friends sometimes do buy each other nice things. It doesn't really matter if it's a guy or a girl you have as a friend. If there's nothing more than friendly feelings it's alright.

it is just so bittersweet to think that they seem to have a deep-seated love for each other more than being friends yet kate has her not-so-handsome husband sam.. i really bet that they have something that will be out in the open soon. in the first place, why would kate keep the inscription private if there's nothing more in it than just being friends?

The friendship between Leo and Kate seems very genuine and I think it's beautiful. There is nothing wrong with her wearing a ring he gave her and I think it also speaks to the security and honesty of her marriage that her husband would be ok with it. I really wish I could say I would be ok if my husband wore a ring that a close female friend gave him, but the reality is I would feel uncomfortable with that. It just wouldn't sit well with me. I hate that! Insecurity and jealously rear there ugly heads, ugh! Need to work on that lol!!!
