Over the weekend, Heidi Klum and Seal renewed their vows in Malibu with a "Trailer Trash" themed wedding for all their closest friends. We got a good peek at the festivities already, but here's an even better look at the family's over-the-top getups! Heidi was head to toe in white lace for the ceremony, but there was no dress for this leggings-loving bride and her matching daughter Leni. Afterwards though, the pregnant Mrs. let it all hang out in a stomach-baring hoodie. For once, it looks like Johan and Henry didn't get too much into the costume part, but Seal did more than enough dressing up for the men in the family. Naturally, an Elvis impersonator was the officiant. It looked like everyone was having a blast, although the "Trailer Trash" theme of the wedding — actual invite below — has some calling foul for being offensive toward a less privileged segment of the American population.

2Oh, brother at the NY Daily news article. Being less fortunate doesn't mean you have to look the way they dressed in this wedding. Trust me, after spending a year in Oklahoma with the only clothing in 50 miles being Wal*mart, I know that for a FACT.
3Just when the memory of this tackfest had dimmed you have to bring it up again. Heidi and Seal are the trashiest part of this party. Ironically, they probably spent more than the average American annual salary to look so cheap. But it's their millions to blow how they wish.

5What is ironic is the fact that if this were college students dressing up this way at a party, the media would deem their actions "racist." Yet, when some Hollywood couple does it, it is seen as witty and clever. Heidi is obnoxious. I really can't stand her. Please go back to Germany with your trashy strange brood. 7I think it is a waste of money and not very funny. But, it's not my party or wedding. I had cornrows when I was a little kid in the 70s and I think Heidi is a shade darker than I am when she's fake tanned or it's not a racial thing to me. Goodness, Seal is her husband, and those are her children.
8Tacky, of course, it's supposed to be. I'm not into gimmicks or costumes, so it's nothing for me to judge.

11Actually, looking at these pictures made me realize that I think it's pretty egotistical to have a party for yourself as a couple every year and expect people to come and watch you acting all silly and pretend to be amused.
12I think it's funny, and I have been around some serious trailer trash families. They're just having a good time with friends, celebrating their family and love for each other.
And isn't this the first year they have invited other people? Usually when it is in Mexico, it's just them and their children in a private ceremony.

19Given that one is German and the other is British via Africa, and white trash is supposed to be part of American "culture", I dont think this is funny at all. Maybe I am thinking into this too much, but, are they making fun of Americans? What would they know about being "white trash" or poor white culture (what white trash is supposed to be)? What next....a "ghetto" wedding?
20I find it hilarious, probably because I take it at face value and don't read too much in to it. Hopefully, a brouhaha doesn't ensue. Just allow them to celebrate in whatever manner they see fit, regardless of how "tacky" it may seem.

23I think Heidi and Seal are so creative...i love the theme of the wedding. I am an American and I still think its funny that they dressed up as white trash. Not every poor person is considered white trash, it's a matter of taste. Some people need to stop being so obsessed with political correctness.

25I actually have no problem with the theme of the party. I just remember reading about how they have a vowel renewal every year and everyone has to know about it. I'm all for celebrating anniversaries but do you really have to make a big show of your "love" every year? And with pictures for the media? What are they trying to prove? I'm not all that up in arms about it, was just thinking out loud. I think all the people saying "chill" are the ones creating the issue.

People are acting like this is a 40 photo spread. It's 3 pics that were clearly shot at long range. It's not a show. And who cares if people see 3 people. IF all you have time to do is be offended by people having fun celebrating their love & marriage, you really need a hobby. They do it every year for themselves, i'm sure, to show their commitment to each other. But there is nothing to get offended about; it's just not that serious. 31I find this wedding disturbing because I think it's contributes to the racism that many American people already have to deal with on a day to day basis. What they should've done is DONATE the money from this poorly themed wedding to the less fortunate white Americans. THEN, I would clap for them.

38I live in a trailer park and shop at wal-mart,I draw disability due to back problems and 3 back surgerys,my husband has recently been laid off from his job,we have 3 kids,I would probably be classified as "White Trash",but I don't care,I do the best with what I've got,and just try to enjoy life and have a good time,you learn to appreciate what you've got,and if they want to play dress up and have a good time,then good for them.Most people who live in trailer parks are the nicest people and are always willing to give a helping hand,everybody just needs to loosen up,maybe they are just showing their real sides,not all white trash are poor.
