Robert Pattinson landed in Nice a few hours ago, greeted by a typically large crowd of fans anticipating his arrival at the Cannes Film Festival. New Moon filming has wrapped in Vancouver, but Rob's pretty face isn't going into hiding anytime soon. After his time in Cannes, he'll be joining his costars on stage at the MTV Movie awards at the end of the month. So much Pattinson goodness to look forward to, but wouldn't it be even nicer to enjoy all the photos and appearances while wrapped in a jacket right off Rob's back? 1i'm SOOO jealous that he's in Cannes! i'm sure that he's loving it since this is the first time that he's really into it all. i can't believe that they are all in Nice airport all the time, i spent every weekend there for AGES and now i'm never there and i miss all the celebs!

14He is there to promote his upcoming movie Remember Me. The female lead hasn't been cast yet, and I'd love to hear it announced soon! They start filming in NYC next month.
15Also, he and Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman just got a deal for Unbound Captives... not sure if they need to promote that or what. Should start shooting at the end of this year. Busy guy.
he looks like he's not at all happy with all the attention and paps..but i guess he has to accept the fact that all this attention and paps are part of being a hollywood star.it seems like he's dealing with his stardom a little better now than before..
kudos to robert!love this guy!you're right, he is somewhat a refresher in the scenes...and good to see that he is not really like some stars who would do anything to grab attention from paps and have their photos taken..
16It's a bit off going to Cannes unless you have a movie opening there. And going to promote a film that hasn't even started filming yet doesn't count.
